The Dakota Winds fit our need--an inexpensive motel so we didn't have to set up our tent in the rain late at night. No coffee maker in room, ice machine didn't work, stains on carpet. However, desk clerk was very nice, bathroom was clean, area was quiet and bed was comfy!

The owners and the staff are delightful. so much better than our other experiences in the area. You might have to find the cleaning lady to check in but all in all a great value during pheasant season.

We stopped overnight on our way out West. It is a quaint hotel. The rooms are clean, owner was friendly. The beds were not the most comfortable but they worked. The shower worked and was clean. It is right across street from gas station and diner so easy to grab gas and ice.
