I can't leave a hotel review, because we were not able to stay in this hotel, DESPITE BELIEVING WE WERE BOOKED. We booked online at the Bullock Hotel site, but SOMEHOW, we ended up with a reservation at the Hickok Hotel & Gaming place a block away. We weren't the first to be BILKED this way -- the desk-clerks of...

Dear "Beware of Bait-and-switch", I appreciate your review on the unfortunate situation that occurred. Since your arrival at the Historic Bullock when we sent you up the street to the Hickok hotel, we have done some adjusting on our web site. The plan behind the set up of our web site was to assist potential guests of our hotel in...

We've stayed at the Bullock for about 4 years and we love it there. The rooms are comfortable and have beautiful woodwork. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. If you've never been there read about it. There is lots of history that goes along with this hotel. We have not seen or heard any ghosts yet but we're still hopeful!;)

Stayed here one night on our way through to Yellowstone. Hotel is in a great location. Lots of old charm. It is said to be haunted and we stayed in one of the rooms where strange things happened. My daughter said she saw the door to the bathroom move back and forth. It was quite the visit. I would recommend...

We stayed here for 4 nights on our "girls trip", because it's reportedly haunted. The hotel itself is pretty neat, and it is obvious they are attempting to maintain the authenticity and the history. The beds were comfy, room was clean, and we had great water pressure in the shower; however, there were down sides as well. The restaurant and...

We picked the Bullock hotel because of the history and location. We were fans of the show "Deadwood" and remember the sherif was Seth Bullock. It has a nice atmosphere and the room was clean. The only complaint it the unreliable wifi. We kept getting kicked off & we were trying to map our next move for traveling.

The location of this hotel couldn't get much better. Right on the main drag within Deadwood. We had a very spacious room with 2 queen beds. Not a lot of outside noise past 10 or so. If you are looking for a very historic, and yes haunted, hotel....this is your place to stay. On the haunted front, they do offer...

If you want some history and a center location, it's hard to beat this hotel. However, if you want nice amenities, updated rooms, or on-site parking, you will be disappointed. For example, the comforters are old and scratchy; they all need to be replaced. There is a digital casino in the lobby that was pretty empty of patrons. I didn't...

Great hotel. Love the history of this place convinent to sights. Next time a whole week. Clean, comfy. Restaurant staff are the best. Night life was great. My sisters and I went on the ghost tour. Got a lot of orbs and a face in the reflection of a picture.

We didn't stay at the hotel but visited the bar. The bartender was also the maintenance person who worked on 2 different floors...bartending as needed... It was not crowded. I felt like the place was dirty and the casino was nothing but a few slot machines... It is historic but not kept up well... I wouldn't be inclined to stay...
