The room was nice.......newly remodeled......the free breakfast was a disappointment...we didn't come downstairs until 9am.....there was nothing left but scraps.....the Orange and Apple juice tasted like water with a hint of juice in it.....seems to me the attendant would space out some items for later risers......the attendant was cleaning up haphazardly (not moving things to wipe underneath) the whole time...

The hotel was fine for a quick stop, especially with dogs. Had a first floor right off the outside door which was convenient. Looks like they've remodeled a bit in the rooms but needs serious cleaning attention outside--no one picks up after their dogs, piles of garbage bags, bottles, etc. Breakfast apparently 6-9 but at 9 it was cleaned up...

The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room was an average hotel room that was mostly clean. However the floors had not been vacuumed. The bathtub could use an overhaul. All in all it wasn't a bad place to stay as I could bring my two small dogs with me.

Hotel halls looked like they had not been vacuumed in a week; sheets on bed appeared to be dirty; moved to another room and found the bathroom to have hair and other dirt on floor; bathroom sink had left over toothpaste in bowl and loose hairs laying on sink. I have NO intentions of ever staying at this hotel again....

In Laws booked this room for us while we helped them move. Spent one night here and wouldn't stay another. This hotel is badly in need of overhaul. The room is filthy! There was pieces of dried dog food and dog fur all over the floor. The fan in the bathroom was literally falling out of the ceiling. The only reason I chose this hotel is because it was pretty much the only one that allows pets anywhere near N. Myrtle Beach. The room was clean and sufficient. Never had an unkind thing to stay at any LaQuinta I have stayed at. This hotel chain is always been clean and impressive--not this time though. At checkin, our bathroom was dirty; wanted to switch rooms but they were sold out. They sent someone up to clean it. The next morning, no hot water. I see there were comments here...

Pros: Hotel clean in some places, our room was clean, beds comfortable. We were on third floor and it was quite as hotel had only a handful of people staying there. Stayed Sunday pm thru Wednesday am. Cons: Hot water not available at 10:30 Sunday night, ok Monday am. No hot water on Tuesday am. Hot water ok on Tuesday...
