The kids and I opted to take a few days away in Myrtle Beach. I read well over 100 reviews, starting with the ‘negatives’. I found that the negatives, once we arrived were most likely a ‘hiccup’ with the regular establishment or just people that will never be pleased. Our stay consisted of three nights and I had three young...

This was our first time staying at North Beach, but it will definitely not be our last. Everything was outstanding from the cottage we stayed in, to the Seaside Café, to the pool area and beyond. The staff were all friendly and just all of the grounds were so beautiful. The designer of the property should be very proud of...

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo ocean front. Well maintained and very comfortable. This is our 3rd trip to North Beach Plantation and we will come back! Condo is very clean and has the feel of a new property. Kitchen has great stainless steel appliances and gourmet gas stove. Very comfortable beds and living room furniture.

We love this resort even though we had a few problems with the Villa, service was kind of slow , we had to wait over 2 hours for them to come to fix the washer. but over all it was a great place to visit , the beach and pool area were very good.

We stayed in the Indigo Tower & although the WiFi services are horrible, this place is awesome. The staff is friendly and the amenities are superb. It is a very lovely resort and if we ever get the money, we would plan to stay again.

Wonderful, relaxing visit to the Cottages at North Beach Plantation Resort. We stayed at 4915 N.Market St Unit 201- a King 1 bedroom flat. A tastefully decorated "home away from home" with the cutest shop downstairs "Sheila Morgan Interiors". The staff was pleasant, the neighbors were friendly. The pool and outdoor amenities were a bit of a distance from where...

Overpriced breakfast! Waaaaaay overpriced. And they never refilled most of it. Sofa bed was an unusable nightmare. The pool bar closed so early it was useless. Much of our furniture was beat up yet the tile was stunning. They spent so much on upgrading the room they could not afford decent towels and mattresses? Maybe.

Beautiful place/ get away with the family. Location is prime and many things to do here with the family. The resort is by far the best in myrtle beach. Down to the rooms and pool and atmosphere me and my family gives it a 5 star. We come here every time we visit myrtle beach and would not go anywhere...

More than I expected. I read a few of the unpleasant reviews before visiting well I must say they were wrong this time. My entire experience was great. I would recommend and I will be coming back again

The location couldn't have been better for our trip. The resort was very nice, but little thinks kept it from being excellent. The staff should turn on the ice maker in the room prior to guest arrival so there would already be ice in the fridge, and an explanation of services available would have been helpful upon check-in.

I have three kids 12,14,16 and my sister in law has 4-slightly older(13,15,16,17) so depending on the likes and dislikes of your children, there are pools-an indoor one with a very small lazy river that is used for "kiddie" activites during the day-kiddie activites like balloon tosses, the main pool witha swim up bar area (not open to children) has a zero enrty level on one side, and a larger swim area. The other pool off to the side is smaller and 4-12 feet deep(it's my favourite one since it is quieter) and I think there is a "spa pool" where people put their sunchairs into the water to cool off......There is a beach-my children and cousins loved taking boogie boards down to the beach and surfing the waves.Note: the pools can be cool if the wather doesn't cooperate. Note:the pool deck opens at 9 am. Depending on the time you travel, it can get busy. Even though there is a no save policy people do not adhere to that. We had to go down first thing in the morning, checko out our towels and put itmes on the chairs around us in order to allow everyone to sit with us. 3 or 4 of us would go down, try to select an area and get 5 or 6 chairs in a row. some people just saved them and left (all day which is not acceptable!)There are shaded tables but I never got to access one (see note above about people saving stuff and then leaving). You can ent a private cabana but I do not know how much these are, since getting 7 teenagers all togeterh at the same time is difficult.

Entertainment: basically you can wal across the road at the entrance to the resort and Barefoot landing is right there. YOu can research what Barefoot Landing offers (House of blues with all ages shows(*ask me for more info if you are interested) shopping, dining options and even fireworks on some nights! YOu need a car to enjoy Mrytle Beach and to get to Ripleys Aquarium (Broadway ont he BEach) where there is also much to do in the form of entertainment. I fyou are asking if the resort offers enough entertainment without ever leaving-if they are outdoor and independent children, then yes, they can swim, explore the beach, "fish" in the swash and enjoy the pool areas. I hope this is helpful and feel free to ask more qustions if you want. Lesley

There are vacuums buckets and brooms, if you receive the daily trash/towel service they should give you dish soap liquid/dishwasher powder/washing machine soap (1) packet per day. They do not supply any cleaning products I.e. Clorox or windex... They also give you toilet paper and tissue. No paper towels or napkins. I bring the Clorox wipes and use those to clean through week and my own detergent so I can was their towels and bedding they don't change sheets during your stay. Only after you leave.
