I was surprised with the room once I entered. This use to be La`Quinta and apparently recently updated. The exterior will make you question this property but I decided to take a look at the room first. Very nice room and spacious for the price. I noticed alot if out of town workers driving trucks stay at this property. Only...

I say don't judge because although the hotel looks a little dated on the outside and it's near the highway, the rooms have been renovated nicely and I couldn't hear the traffic once I shut the door. It was obviously very well insulated. My room was very clean and well-pointed with very nice furniture. The fridge and microwave were in...

The staff was very nice and customer friendly. The facilities were very clean and well kept. I will diffidently stay there on my next vacation in Charleston. The location was great within five minutes of the Historical District and the price of the room was very low compared to the other hotels in the area.

First we have stayed in several La Quintas across the USA and they have been very reasonably price with decent mid-range room amenities. NOT THE CASE at this location. The room was filthy. The property was down in a retaining wall area that appeared to used as a support for the access road above. Please take advantage of pictures and...

I have stayed in numerous other LQ's, mostly in the PNW, and was very dissatisfied with this one. I couldn't get out fast enough because of the electrical issues in the room, but mostly because I woke up in the middle of the night with cockroaches crawling on me. There were other issues as well like mold in the bath...

Asked to see a room before we booked for the night. Were given a key and went to look by ourselves. Saw a good sized clean room and clean bathroom. Booked for the night. Breakfast was ok, cereal, toast, donuts, coffee, orange juice.

After a long day of driving in the rain we looked forward to getting the LaQuinta in North Charleston. That excitement soon left after arriving there and finding out we are, of course, on the 2nd floor and all the way down the outside hallway...yes, no elevator and traveling with cameras, laptops, etc. etc. Of course it was afternoon but...

When we first got to the door of our room there was a box of beer cans I front of the door and the door was cracked open. Big large dent in door. Found a crumpled up beer can in the corner. Shower was leaking. Toilet was turned off. Room is nice. Bathroom is very outdated.. they re did everything...

Bath tub looked like it had never been cleaned and toilet broken in the first room. Had them move us to a "clean" room and that room had dog hair on top of the bed. Pulled sheets back and sheets had not been changed from previous people and there was dog hair all in the sheets. Needless to say we...

We had a great time it was fun we strictly went to go eat in Charleston and do the ghost tours. Awesome place to stay. Very clean room. Awesome staff. Ruby Tuesday is 3 minute walk. The pool was awesome. Quick drive to Folly Beach. Price was very affordable.
