The staff at Pirateland Campground are kind and helpful. My family and I enjoy returning each year for a relaxing vacation. It's almost like going home. We enjoy the concrete campsites and the easy beach access.

I didn't go with high expectations after reading multiple negative reviews but when we booked we were assured that the indoor pool would be open the week we were there. Unfortunately, we had a fairly rainy week and the indoor pool was closed for repairs for the entire week we were there so we were very disappointed. One reason we...

Everything was just as expected. They had friendly staff, plenty of stuff to do, close to a million things. This place is the biggest campground I've stayed at so there was a lot going on and it wasn't even peak season. But we didn't have any problems with neighbors, too much noise, etc. Kids had a BLAST at the water...

This is the second year in a row to spend the whole month of September here. Office personnel are friendly. We asked to have someone take my boyfriend to our site before driving down with our RV. The employee also assisted us with getting our 44' 5th wheel backed-in to the lakeside site. Restrooms are cleaned each morning. Water pressure...

We were at this camping ground late July this summer for a week. This is a nice location right on the beach. Mother Nature provided us with above average weather with lots of sun. We will planned to go back in the future. The only down side was with the above warm weather, there was too many jelly fish near...

My family and I (my husband and our 3 kids) stayed in one of the campgrounds new cabins for 5 nights. The cabin was great for a family of 5, it had a queen size bed, twin bunk beds, and the couch turned into a bed. The cabin was clean and had the basic kitchen dishes, a coffee maker, can...

camping experience had positives and negatives, facilities definitely in need of some upgrades. The customer service experience is what gets this a one star review. They just didn't take care of us and satisfy our needs.

We enjoyed our time at Pirateland staying in one of the doggy friendly rentals. It was tight and we couldn't stand sleeping together in a double bed surrounded by walls on 3 sides so we slept separately after the first night. That was a downer. Also after the first night we understood what the blue light special was all about...

Pirateland doesn't live up to the hype. We came with family and rented several units. We rented the 1 double, one bunk and one single rental. The rental wasn't very clean and smelled extremely musty. The furniture in living area is outdated and uncomfortable. Air filter cover is very dirty (picture). Flooring seems to be new but wasn't cleaned well....

We store our camper there and visit as often as our schedules allow. I can't say enough about the campground - the facilities are awesome, the staff is incredible. Connie Saxe, especially, is always helpful and accommodating.
