Gary was wonderfully accommodating and showed genuine hospitality during our stay. His warmth and generosity infused with humor will not be forgotten. No detail was overlooked with service or amenities and he served a fantastic breakfast. We stayed in the John C Calhoun room located on the second floor which is a wonderfully appointed room with volume ceilings and exquisite...

Hurricane Matthew ran us out of Myrtle Beach into Marion. My husband and I pulled into the Manor only to be greeted by one of the owners Gary. Gary came out to our truck and immediately gave us the warmth we really needed during this difficult time. He was amazing. We entered to the sounds of relaxing classical music throughout...

Escaping the coast when hurricane Matthew was bearing down on Charleson, my partner and I were very pleased that there was room at the Rosewood Manor inland in Marion. Arrival could not be more welcoming. The proprietors made ourselves and the other guests feel like family! Each room is glorious with the most comfortable king sized beds, and makes one...

The food (grits) was unreal and my meals were all incredible. Gary fixed a special dinner and looked like it was out of a culinary magazine. My room was fabulous and the entire stay was first-class! I highly recommend a visit!

The house is beautiful, the food was superb, the decor is impeccable. Truly incredible experience. Not to mention the friendly, generous hosts. Each room is lovely and unique in its own way. And the beds are so comfy! Loved it.

This magnificent 1895 Georgian Revival mansion, in our estimation, is second only to the Biltmore, in places we've visited. The owners have re-done every square inch, from ceiling to floors. Every room is a visit to a museum. Art, statues, and amazing antiques and antiquities, from all over the world, fill every room. The bedrooms all have a private full...

We were in town moving our daughter into Coastal Carolina University and wanted to pick a place that was a little off the beaten path. What a rare treat to find such excellent accommodations and exceptional service. From the moment we walked into the B&B, we felt pampered and cared for. John was such a gracious and thoughtful host. We...

There was so much to see at Rosewood. We heard lots of stories about the antiques and their origins. Gary and John were a lot of fun to talk too and very informative. The place was beautiful and they really pampered us. The bed sheets were to die for. Breakfast was outstanding. Gary fixed us dinner the night before since...

Awesome house, facilities and service. Would rate higher than 5 stars if possible. Stayed there during a business week, and the owner could not have been more hospitable. The rooms are all incredibly decorated yet comfortable.

Having grown up in Marion from the 1950s, I've known the Rose Mansion as a house of history that went into decline in the 70s. Fortunately, Gary & John have reclaimed it to bring this house to a splendor it never before knew. My wife and I have admired it for years but only stayed there for the first time...
