I was at Kiawah Island Golf Resort last week for 4 days to attend a conference. It is an hour's drive from Charleston International Airport. The suites are very clean and the service is superb. The kitchen is well equipped with pots and pans and everything else you need. Great for a family with kids. The beach is literally hop,...

Everyone is super helpful and professional but we stayed in a villa and it was truly 3 stars. Place needs to be updated. Rather shabby for an $800 3 night stay. Plus they were doing work outside replacing shingles, which I totally understand, but they didn't warn us that it would be outside our room from 8:30 to 9:30. I...

Visited Kiawah Island Golf Resort/Sanctuary for the Comedy Weekend. What a fantastic time. We reserved a Villa because there were 2 couples, and 3 of us were celebrating our birthdays. Not only did we get a great villa, but it was a 3 bedroom with plenty of room. The resort had a bottle of wine addressed to the birthday people,...

Went for a weekend of workshops. Meeting accommodations were exceptional - comfortable with amenities like water and mints. Stayed in a villa that was well-appointed. Comfy bed. I can't say enough good things about the staff - courteous, friendly, helpful to a fault. Even the shuttle drivers were a delight. Beautiful property. I was sorry I did not have more...

The cottage was stayed in was very spacious and provided all the comforts of home. Staff was very pleasant to work with and very helpful. A 30 minute drive to Charleston and other excursions. Don't worry about towels and sheets, already provided. They also had coffee, filters, etc for the coffee maker. The grocery is close by and several restaurants...

Went through first gate, told them we were heading to Ocean Course..no problem. At the second gate, the guard wouldn't let us pass. I told him I was meeting my boss at the Ocean Course, and he said it was closed due to the electricity. I said ok, we'll let me go since I'm mtg him there, and we'll figure...

off2lb1-- Unfortunately, gate guards are not resort employees. They work for the Kiawah Community Association. If you give me your contact info, I can put you in touch with one of our group sales staff who can work out individual gate passes for each of your guests while here should you opt for coming to Kiawah. We'll work to make...

The arrival staff was great. The Ocean Course is in a class by itself. Highly recommend our caddies Tyler and Mike-they know their stuff. Our experience at Turtle Point was totally opposite. The greens were rock hard,Collars and surrounds rough at best. The greens were littered with unrepaired ball marks. Not what we expected on a premier property. Don't play this course...

The condo was very comfortable and well appointed. The one minute walk to the beach through the overhanging trees was nice. All the restaurants were great. The service and food were exceptional. The shuttle for the island is a great idea and removes the hassle of driving.

We stayed in a condo, so we could have room to spread out and enjoy. It was great to have a kitchen to be able to have some food where we stayed. The weather in November on the coast of SC is fabulous.

Stayed in a Villa Resort, spacious, well equipped and very clean. Ocean Course is a must do (we played it twice). Other courses are average to slightly above average for resort courses. Ocean Room restaurant quite overpriced, particularly the wine list. Suggest going off campus if you're looking for a good steak dinner.
