We drove down for a day trip to check out the park for a future stay. Overall pretty nice with helpful staff. The beach is nice and not too busy in late September. Lots of ants everywhere and mosquitoes too, but that's not unusual. We...More

We have a 35' travel trailer and 3 small kids. We are wanting to come this July. Obviously it would be nice to camp ocean front but they are all full. Plenty of availability in the other campground. Can we still walk to the beach? Is it still nice?
