Being a dated hotel is no excuse for the uncleanliness and disrepair of the the hotel in general and the room we stayed in. We actually switched rooms after opening the door to the first room. We were going to be charged regardless of the stay so we looked at two other rooms and picked the lesser of two hog...

STAY AWAY! This is a tired, old hotel. The halls, rooms smelled horrible. Carpeting was filthy. TV didn't work. NO amenities. Front desk staff very nice but still didn't make up for bad shape hotel is in. Needs an overhaul.

Absolutely disgusting! We stayed in room 669. The ice machines on the 5th an 6th floors were broken. The ice machine on the 4th floor was out of ice. The end of the hallway on the 6th floor was a wet marshland. (My jeans got wet walking through it and I was wearing heals.) the woodwork around the windows on...

I am in the room as I write this review. Disgusting!!! Filthy!!! I am here for a college visit and if I didn't drive 12 hours or another place had rooms I would leave.. cutting trip short for sure, not at all what is advertised on hotels.com.

For my purposes the hotel was in a great location, but it's an older hotel in desperate need of renovation. The safety lock on my door was broken and during my 6-day stay they never made any attempt to repair it. They never left enough towels, hand towels and wash cloths and I had to go to the front desk...

The outside is full of trash. The outdoor pool literally does not exist. The wallpaper is peeling and the beds looked as if they had been sat on before I came into the room. We paid more for this hotel so that we had a pool!!!!!! Yes, they are changing to Hilton Garden in July. Don't give them business either....

The front desk was great!!very friendly. Hotel is under construction though. There was no breakfast like advertised, though they did have coffee. I think maybe the food service was closed because of renovations? Room had a pair of underwear behind the door of the bathroom. Toilet didn't look clean. Carpet didn't look vacuumed. But it was left expensive then the...

We went to Columbia to attend a baseball game and ended up here because a friend booked it for us. It was obvious from the interior and exterior that this is an older building in need of a lot of TLC. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and checked us in quickly. The hallways have the...

Stayed here during University of South Carolina Admitted Students weekend. Hotel was conveniently located near school. We were a mile away from Vista District and we walked to restaurants for dinner. Hotel is under renovations. There was no restaurant and no bar as both were closed due to the rest-model. Next time I come, I will go somewhere else. I'm...
