We needed to stop for one night and wanted to be close to restaurants. Of the Marriotts in the direct vicinity, I chose this hotel. It was sufficient for one night, but I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness, especially with COVID. The front desk staff were very friendly.
The front staff was beyond courteous and helpful. The room was very clean and that is very appreciated. Felt safe, it was quiet. There are nice restaurants around that you can walk to and you are literally right next to a very nice mall. However, that bed was probably the worst we have ever slept in...it's well past it's life. We each had to lay on the very end because if we didn't we literally rolled into the center because the mattress sunk in. The air conditioner was filthy, with the virus that is something especially that needs to be cleaned. We checked out very early 5:30 a.m. and as we were leaving there were some questionable people in the lobby and right outside the door, they were not guests there. Wasn't a horrible stay, again the staff was super friendly but there are some things that could stand improvement.…
My boyfriend and I are driving from Pittsburgh to Orlando and picked this Fairfield as it was conveniently located right where we wanted to stop for the night. The woman I talked to on the phone about a late arrival as well as the person working night audit were very kind and efficient. The property is newly remodeled and looks very nice! We could even smell the new paint. There are a lot of places nearby to stop and shop or eat which is convenient as well. We enjoyed our stop here!
I selected this hotel over Christmas because 1. I've stayed at Fairfield Inns in other places and have been very pleased 2. I wanted access to an indoor pool and a nice workout room when not out/about doing other things. The pool was not open (no explanation given), the machines in the workout room didn't work properly, and the morning breakfast options were "ho-hum" - not bad, but certainly nothing special. The room was clean, the bathroom was fine, and the heating unit worked fine. The staff were polite.
Ours was a two night stay while visiting the area. The front desk clerk was exceptional, very friendly, and provided several excellent food options, of which there were many, in the nearby area. This was a typical very good Marriott product. Perhaps a bit worn in a few places but well-maintained. Breakfast was very good. We did not use the pool, but it looked very nice.. only negative comment would be that it is located in a very busy area, which may be a positive for many people but the traffic was heavy while we were there. But we would have absolutely no hesitation staying there again
