We had an awesome post-Thanksgiving weekend stay at the Meeting Street Inn. We've stayed in historic Charleston several times before and the location of this hotel is the best by far. The hotel is quite old but matches the theme of the area. The hotel staff were great. The breakfast was also great and included hot items-shrimp and grits one...

The best things about this small inn is its location being only steps away from all of the central historic sights and to the daily market place. Every member of the staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful with answering our questions. The room we were in was adequate. The beds were a bit soft for us causing us to sag...

The room was very quaintly decorated for the era. The facilities themselves were acceptable. The highlights were the wonderful service, the wine and cheese at mid-day, and the great location right at the heart of Market street. Just be aware, because of the type of hotel this is, a lot of what goes on is heard in other rooms.

Centrally located, pleasant and competant staff, OK breakfast buffet (sort of like a Hampton Inn), and we got a complimentary upgrade due to it being our anniversary. Rooms decorated in antiques in keeping with the perior. My only negative is that the p[roperty has gotten a little "tired" and could use some TLC. Significant water damage to the ceiling and...

Our friends booked us into this Inn because they has stayed there the year prior. After 1 night we moved because the place was so dirty and mouldy. At check in I asked to have a quiet room and was assured that the room was quiet. It turned out that there were 4 rooms open to the street ad the...

We did a lot o searching before deciding to book our rooms for a three night get away and there wasn't anything less expensive. While you might want more for the money - we were OK with our choice. We were met by an eager bell hop who loaded the luggage and took it up to the rooms. Daren checked...

We recommended Meeting Street Inn to guests as one of the top choices for our daughter's wedding weekend and rightly so. From management to front desk to housekeeping, each staff member was friendly and accommodating. It is historic, charming and situated perfectly for sightseeing and walking tours. The breakfast buffet offers diverse and tasty choices and the daily wine and...

I booked a room for a surprise trip with my husband. This was our first time at the Meeting Street Inn. We normally stay at another hotel, but it was booked. Arrived at the Inn and quickly discovered why the Inn's website is so short. THERE ARE NO AMENITIES. No bell hop, only 2 luggage carts, no parking. you must...
