We chose this hotel because of the rave reviews so perhaps expectations were too high. The woman who checked us in (and interacted with on several occasions with questions) had an attitude that was slightly off putting. Not welcoming at all. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, but we had to keep the shear drapes drawn the entire time for privacy. Workers were next door fixing things on the new hotel. We must be the only ones who did not love the breakfast. Food was just OK and mostly cold. Not a fan of the "butler" idea. Needs to be refreshed. Felt uncomfortable.

The Spectator is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are clean, the service is incredible, and everyone who works there is extremely nice. The bar/lounge is a great place to grab a drink and relax. It's also great when breakfast/coffee is included in the stay.

It was recommended that we stop in the bar at the Spectator. The physical space is beautiful but the highlight was Kevin. He offered top notch hospitality! He spent a little bit of time talking with us and asking questions about our taste preferences and allergies and then crafted amazing individualized cocktails! Can’t say enough! It’s a must visit

We got here as recommendation from Tales of Cocktail and their interactive map. We were greeted by Kevin and it was just the beginning of an amazing afternoon. Kevin focused on off the menu drinks and all of them were 10/10. If you are looking for amazing bar - this is it (make sure you #AskForKevin)!
