Although some of the recent reviews aren't extremely positive, we had a completely different experience. We really enjoyed our time a the Palmer Pinckney Inn. Being a home that was built in the late 1800's, it has a lot of character. I will agree that the jacuzzi tub is basically a regular tub with jets but we we found it...

The room itself was spacious but not exactly clean. The bathroom cramped but adequate. The website says the room has a jacuzzi tub, but it is a regular-sized (small) tub with what look to be some sort of jets (we didn't attempt to turn them on). The website also advertises a continental breakfast. Not to beat a dead horse, because...

My wife and I spent a weekend in Charleston and stayed at the Palmer Pinkney Inn.The location was convenient to most of the old Charleston attraction and dining, however, it was next door to the stables which house the horses from the myriad of old Charlestion carriage rides. This was not a problem concerning any odor, but there was some...

We came to Charleston for a Christmas visit, and this property is in a wonderful spot. We were able to park the car and walk the entire weekend- nothing was too far away. The room was spacious, and we loved the gas fireplace and decor.

My wife and I spent the weekend here for our 13th wedding anniversary, had a great time. The Inn has an excellent location and you can walk to any destination on the lower peninsula. Its a taste of a real Charleston home, small and cozy, not one of the large mega-homes. It's an almost 140 year old structure...expect a crack...

I purchased 2 nights at the Palmer's Pinckney Inn through Groupon for $220.00. We paid $12.00 for parking across the street which was reasonable and convenient. The Inn driveway is too narrow for a standard sedan to navigate without danger of scratching and according to the innkeeper, the trees in the parking area drop berries which damage the finish on...

My wife and I stayed here on weeknights with a Groupon. The cost was $100 a night. Let's break that down to see what the value is. First of all, this is an ancient wooden house that has not been kept up very well. But it is OK. Think of it this way. You have a nice gas fireplace, in...

Great value for the money. Breakfast at the Palmer House as part of the package along with wine and cheese. Great access to Market Area and downtown shopping. Would definitely go again. Connie was a wonderful hostess.

stayed at this B & B on Oct 24,2012. stayed in the equestrian room-with 4 poster canopy bed, jacuzzi tub, and all the amenities you would desire. The location is terrific. Not a traditional B & B where breakfast is provided, rather a do it your self deal. The kitchen is always open stocked with any breakfast food you would...

Great location to walk anywhere in Charleston. However did not enjoy the smell of the stables nearby and the street noise in the morning. The property could certainly use some improvements, the porch looked like it might collapse any time. We stayed one night in the Bombay room and another night in the next room due to reservations issues. Both...
