After a long day of travel my girlfriend and I were welcomed with open arms. Rooms are elegant and cozy. Daily housekeeping with turn down service is standard which is a rare occurrence these days. Continental Breakfast, Coffee/Tea, Fruit and afternoon treats on each floor. The bar downstairs is classy and the view from the rooftop bar is the best in the area. Did not have a chance to dine in the restaurant, but the appetizers we ordered in the bar were on-point. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond! Special shout out to Haley who was super helpful on our last day.

Beautiful historic hotel right in the center of historic Charleston and a block off the water. The beauty of the rooms and common areas were only bested by the hospitality and friendly staff. Truly one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at worldwide.

This hotel is so comfortable! It is centrally located, and we love staying here. It is quiet, and they take care of your every need. The evening cookies are great, and the morning pastries and coffee are on each floor. The rooftop is wonderful! You can eat, drink, and swim. This is our go-to. It is a classy, homey hotel!!!

Room Tip: Eat at least one meal on the roof. They have heaters in the winter. It is delightful!

Stayed here for a few days. We really enjoyed the amenities, including the rooftop pool and bar, and the fresh made breakfast every morning. The location right downtown next to the marketplace can't be beat! Only flaw was the $35/day charge for the valet in addition to the garage fee that was fine but it wasn't advertised to us at all on top of the cost of the room

This hotel was recommended from someone who lived near Charleston. It is a wonderful hotel. It is a smaller hotel, the main lobby on the first floor, 3 floors of rooms, and a roof top bar and a small pool. I believe there are 16 to 20 rooms are each floor so there are only 50 or 60 rooms. The rooms are not huge but are very comfortable. There are some very nice amenities. Each floor had several side tables in the hallways. One table had hot coffee and hot water for tea available all day. Each morning there was orange juice available next to the coffee/tea. On another table from 7 - 10 AM, there were croissants, chocolate chip croissants, various muffins and fresh fruit pastries. In the afternoon, there were chocolate chip and sugar cookies. There is fruit, oranges, apples, bananas, etc, available on the table 24/7. The only draw back was the view from the room. The hotel is on a corner, and the rooms facing north and east had views of the streets. The rooms facing south looked onto the garage the hotel used for valet parking, and an adjacent building. So if you book a stay here, request a room facing north or east. The only reason I did not rate the hotel a 5 was because of the view. If I had a north or east view, I would have rated the hotel a 5. If I still had the south view but was on the 3rd or 4th floor I may have rated the hotel a 5 also. The room rate was very reasonable, considering what hotel rates are these days. The daily room rate with all taxes, was about $419/day.
