I stay at a lot of nice hotels. But this was extraordinarily! From the check in with Jenny at the front desk offering a glass of Champagne to the extra little touches I kept discovering throughout my stay. I even called my husband to tell him this was one place I wanted to visit with him for a personal getaway....

The French Quarter Inn has been a great place to stay. We were hoping to check in mid-morning and we were immediately given a lovely room. A lovely complimentary breakfast with Mimosas was still being served. The interior of the hotel is lovely and there is a lovely patio to enjoy while eating. After taking in some lovely Charleston sights,...

Our trip to Charleston was made perfect by the patient and helpful Jenny in guest services, with her spot on restaurant and tour recommendations. the hotel is fabulous, with coffee and breakfast brought to you in the morning, wine in the afternoon, and warm cookies and milk before bed. it is in the heart of all the shops and activities....

We absolutely love the French Quarter Inn, and the room with a private terrace is our favorite. The staff is always so friendly, and Jenny at the front desk is so sweet. She actually remembered us from our fall visit and welcomed us with open arms. Josiah took very good care of us as we checked in, quickly getting the...

My wife and I stayed at the French Quarter during our visit to Charleston. This is a fantastic and friendly "boutique" hotel with excellent service and amenities. The location is perfect being around the block from the Marketplace, and walking distance to many fine restaurants and sites. The hotel is first class, with beautiful rooms and decor. Although we have been to Charleston several times, we decided to try something new and chose the French Quarter. It was the perfect mix of good location and quiet elegance. Parking in downtown Charleston can be a challenge, but the hotel has a covered drive where the valet will take the car. Then, it is upstairs to the registration, where...

The French Quarter inn was top notch. Beautiful and clean room, delicious breakfast and evening cookie and milk service included in stay (as well as wine and cheese reception at night). We loved our stay at the French Quarter. My family stayed in a King Suite, it was comfortable with a king size bed and sofa bed. The room has a small refrigerator. The bathroom had a wonderful shower but no tub. The bath products were nicely scented. We enjoyed the generous continental breakfast, fresh fruit, quiche, salmon, various breads, Danish,...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The AAA Four Diamond Inn's newly redesigned rooms are inspired by the old world elegance of a Parisian chateau set against the architectural backdrop of Charleston's classic French Quarter. Red medallion-patterned draperies and damask chenille upholstery in hues of black, white and gold create a rich distinction between the fabrics and furniture, of the highest quality.Among many other amenities, guests of the hotel enjoy complimentary items such as: champagne and lady fingers at check-in, an evening wine and cheese reception, freshly baked cookies and milk, evening turn down service and gourmet continental breakfast in the lobby or served to your room. The over-sized guest rooms, some with working fireplaces, private balconies, and whirlpool tubs, provide imagery of an era gone by, but still grants contemporary amenities a sophisticated traveler has come to expect. ... more   less
