The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars is that our bathroom was ridiculously small. The room was very comfortable and the service was warm and helpful. The hotel is located central and walking distance to many of the sights, including a lovely walk to the water. I enjoyed my stay and would stay again, but need to...

Very welcoming, relaxing and accommodating. The only issue was the parking or lack thereof. Also, the TV remote is hard to operate. Too many buttons and lack of how NOT to order a movie when you first cut it on.

Can't say we had any complaints about the hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, the hotel and rooms were very nice and the location was excellent. We also loved the free bottled water. The hotel does lack any wow-factor though. It's a nice place to stay, but there's not much more to it than that.

Excellent location for historic charleston location. Historic residential neighborhoods within walking distance to the south, two parking garages west of the hotel, King Street shopping behind the hotel and free trolley stops, the Market to the north, and water in restaurants to the east. Double room with a balcony wasn't large but accommodated four with little room to move. Beds...

This is one of the best hotels we have stayed in. The service from the valet, reception and maintenance staff was exceptional. We were given a king room overlooking Meeting Street. The furnishings, bed and bathroom were not only comfortable but pleasant to look at . The view out over Charleston was panoramic. We only stayed two nights but will...

The staff was very friendly and accommodating- from the concierge who helped us plan our activities and recommended restaurants to the cleaning manager who helped my husband walk the entire hotel to find my toddlers lost "lovey" doll. Our room was clean (and I'm a germaphobe!) and decorated nicely. The hotel has such charm and is located perfectly downtown. Will...

What a lovely property. We stayed in a king junior suite which was beautifully appointed and roomy. The staff was very friendly and cheerful. A full breakfast is served in the dining room. The first day I had the wild mushroom, tomato and goat cheese omelette which was so good. My husband had the Mills House Breakfast; bacon, eggs, potatoes....
