3 night stay. Beautiful hotel. We somehow were put in an ADA room and thought that it was a bit small overall and while it was adequate it didnt really match the elegance of the lobby. It was clean and comfortable but not anything special....More
I read the reviews of the hotel, namelyfolks being put off by the high price of valet parking. I pulled up and the bellman & valet were most gracious and were not offended when I stated that I was going to park the car myself....More

The mills house is one of my favorite hotels in Charleston. Probably the best located out of all the many fine hotels. While the guest rooms may be on the smaller side (not uncommon in older hotels), the common areas (indoor and outdoors) are excellent....More

Husk, across Queen Street from the side entrance to the Mills House, has a fabulous bar. I'm not sure how many TVs they have. For breakfast, I strongly recommend Eli's Table, 1/2 block north of the hotel on Meeting Street.
