This our second stay at the Planters Inn. A small hotel in the heart of Old Charleston. Across the street to the beginning of the market and close to excellent restaurants. The morning breakfast room service was impeccable as was the veiw of the courtyard below. The afternoon "sweet" tea and lemonade in the parlor was a highlight. Come for...

I just spent the weekend in a different hotel in Charleston that was comparable in price and ratings. It did not measure up to the Planters on many levels so I felt that instead of writing...

Planters Inn is centrally located within easy walking distance of most things. The staff is very gracious and obliging. There is a food culture in Charleston that is first class, and the Peninsula restaurant did not disappoint.

We have just completed our third visit to this exceptional small hotel. It quickly becomes obvious that every employee in this hotel has been extremely well trained. Every employee we encountered was friendly, positive and helpful. Our room and the hotel as a whole were exceptionally clean and well maintained. When we checked in I called the front desk to...

As stated previously the entire front desk and lobby staff were very professional and helpful. Also the bartender did a great job. The cleaning person for our room (207) did an excellent job. The location and history of the hotel is very special.

My wife and I spent the weekend in Charleston and stayed at the Planters Inn. Truly a great experience. Staff was helpful, rooms were great with a fireplace and they are located right in the middle of everything. When staying you need to have breakfast there as the food was great and the wait staff were fun and excellant
