Have very mixed emotions about our stay at the Jasmine House Inn. Positives were great service, all staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Our room Carriage House #2 was very pretty and well appointed. Wine, cheese and fruit at 5 pm was lovely. Romantic ambience focused on adults. Negatives the breakfast was bland, boring, and commercial. Muffins, cinnamon rolls and... More

Almost every year for the past several years, my husband and I have stayed at the Jasmine House for 2-3 nights every Spring. It has become our big tradition. It puts us into the heart of historical Charleston, where we can walk to everything. The staff at the Jasmine is always so nice and friendly. We always look forward to... More

We were in Charleston for the first time, and the Jasmine Inn proved to be in an ideal location in the heart of the historic district and within walking distance to pretty much everything. Our room, Carriage House #2 on the second floor was beautiful and private. We found the breakfast delicious and plentiful. The bread pudding was served each... More

The Jasmine Inn is a nice place to stay in Charleston. Parking and check in is at the India House one street over. Place is an old bandb building with lots of charm. Excellent location close to the old section of town can walk to the best places. Rooms very clean and service attentive. Breakfast so so. Overall we will... More

I highly recommend Jasmine House Inn. My husband and I were here for 3 nights in April. We had the carriage house #3 room, which is behind the house. Quiet, on ground floor, opens to a lovely shared courtyard with fountain, table and chairs to relax. The room was fabulous, very spacious, with four poster bed, sofa, armoire, dresser, large... We spent 3 nights at the Jasmine House Inn. The room was beautiful but a little on the dark side. Other rooms were much brighter. We were on the 2nd floor which has a nice piazza just off the bedroom. The staff were wonderful especially Darlene and Margaret. Margaret went that extra mile to make us feel very welcome. The... This is a beautifully restored home/inn. Every detail was impeccable and the location cannot be beat! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Wine and cheese was fun and the breakfast was delicious. I am very picky about rooms and bathrooms and found our accommodations to be perfect! I would absolutely recommend the Jasmine Inn and hope to stay here... More

I splurged to stay here rather than a bland hotel and am so glad I did. It is worth paying extra to stay in one of the grander rooms in the main house, they were huge but also characterful. I loved the bedroom - I was in the ground floor room to right of the front door - but big... More

Jasmine House Inn is perfectly located between E. Bay Street and Meeting Street and walking distance to many area attractions. We parked at The Indigo Inn and walked everywhere. We asked management to change our room the 2nd night and they graciously accommodated us. The Chrysanthemum Room was just beautiful with the 2nd floor porch directly off our room. Breakfast... More

Something to keep in mind staying here...you're in an old home turned into an Inn. You will hear "house" noises (other guest footsteps and comings/goings) so if you are sensitive to this, don't stay here. However, the location, the breakfasts, wine/cheese, cookies, decor, staff is lovely and did I mention location? Wifi is strong and consistent. My sister and I... More
