We attended the Charleston Wine and Food Festival and stayed at the Harborview Inn for two nights. This original building has been used for several different things over the years, but the Harborview Inn seems to be a keeper. The location is primo, within walking distance to the heart of tourist destinations, dining and shopping. The staff was exceptional and...

My wife and I just returned from a three-night stay at the Harbourview, and I thought it was a excellent hotel. It was a small place but elegant and very clean. The rooms felt more like a B&B style room, with four-post beds (we enjoyed the tempurpedic mattress) and a nice open layout. The room and bathroom were very clean...

This was my fourth trip to Charleston, obviously I love this town. I saw the Harbourview on a previous trip and given it's perfect location, decided that I wanted to stay there. The room was nice, unfortunately overlooking a very large power grid and the beds are very comfortable. Our bathroom ceiling had some water stains as well as the...

We stayed at the Harbourview for three nights in January and loved our visit. We had previously stayed several times at a sister hotel, French Quarter Inn, and also loved that hotel, but we just decided it was time for a change. Both hotels are wonderful, but we did enjoy the location of the Harbourview more. The lobby of the...

The hotel is in a great location, off the main road, but close enough to walk to where we wanted to go, The Marketplace, the water, restaurants. Our room was comfortable and clean, the view was from the roof was beautiful. Our room was located right off the atrium where breakfast is served at your request, and wine and cheese...

I'll start by saying that I usually do not splurge and spend $349/night for a hotel (plus $20 a day for parking, and about $40/night for tax.) However, with a bill of over $800 for a two night stay I would say this hotel offers a lot of perks. Room: We were given a first floor room right next to...

One night stay for a long overdue getaway to Chas. Perfect walking distance to great dining and to the harbor. Wine and cheese evening social and room service breakfast were great treats. Would return.

My wife stayed here for a few days 02/04/13-02/06/13 and the Inn was terrific. I will start with the room. Very spacious and extremly comfortable. If you do not know the beds are Tempurpedic and in our opinion they are the most comfortable bed you can sleep on. The Tempurpedic beds are very expensive but worth the cost I know...

The Harbourview Inn is a great location on the waterfront and in the heart of downtown. My husband & I walked to the battery to see the Mansions on the Waterfront, to the City Market, down King street to wonderful stores and eateries. My favorite store in Charleston is Graffito, a contemporary jewelry and gift store on East Bay Street...

Enjoy unparalleled service and signature amenities from this AAA Four-Diamond and Condé Nast "Gold List Award" luxury hotel. Panoramic views, vast atriums and beautifully appointed guest rooms - some with private balconies, working fireplaces, and whirlpool tubs - await your arrival. From the moment you enter one of the most historic hotels in Charleston, SC, you will find modern features and services, old world charm and unpretentious Southern hospitality.
