Expensive for what it is. Boards in the floor were missing and crackling. Room was ok. Bathroom was very nice. Hotel breakfast, water and coffee were great. Don't book the room right under the terrace. It is loud and you cannot sleep.

Clean, stylish, and tasteful. Efficient experienced friendly staff. Centrally located in the Historic District steps from Market Street and many many shops, restaurants, and architecturally significant buildings. On site valet parking. Almost anything is within a very short walking distance. Safe neighborhood/location. I am a regular visitor to Charlestonm however I just discovered this gem. Will definitely stay again.

Everything was perfect, except for the size and location of the "queen petite room". Once the staff moved us to another room, our stay could not have been better. We thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, and afternoon reception. The staff at the front desk was also more than helpful!

The hotel is situated in a nice area. A nearby restaurant (Hanks) made our stay and I am not sure we would have found it with the valet's recommendation. We ate their twice. Everything worth seeing in Charleston is an easy walk from the hotel's front door. King Street, the main shopping artery, is two blocks away, and great...
