Clean hotel with a beautiful lobby. Hotel room was small but large enough. Bath was a different story. Tiny , barley had room to turn around. Weak exhaust fan, old tub and a strange toilet with a commercial type flush valve on side.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

The Hotel is a jewel located between the old and new of Charleston. Friendly staff, good accommodations and a return to the kind of experience finer hotels provided in the last century. Built in the 1920's provides the aura of a more refined earlier age.

This is one of those grand hotels found in cities across the country. They are noted for their large lobbies, lots of attention and help by the staff, comfortable rooms but small bathrooms. For people who like the attention and help that these types of hotels provide this is a good one. There is a restaurant in the hotel and...

This hotel is very charming and it is located right off downtown where shopping and historical sites are all within walking distance. The noise insulation was pretty good considering that we were within a block from clubs nearby. I came here with 3 other friends and the room itself was pretty small but what really surprised me was how small...

Attended a spring wedding at this hotel and it was a great experience. The hotel has a natural historic decor that adds to its southern charm. The reception appitizers were delicious and the dinner was fantastic especially the grouper fish. The staff assigned to the Wedding were very friendly and courteous.

The hotel is in a great location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had breakfast in the restaurant and the food and service were very good. Our room was lovely, but a little dated. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

This is a historic hotel located within walking distance of most of historic Charleston. Our room was a little small, but clean. The rooms had free WiFi. The receptionist, Meredith, was very friendly and efficient as were the bell hops. If you use valet parking, be advised they are parking your car in the public lot that you would use...

The spa is downstairs from the main entrance. The pricing is a good value compared to others in the downtown Charleston area. Will definitely go again. 8/10 The lobby bar is always clean with quick service. I wouldn't go here normally, but it is convenient for a quick drink. 7/10
