Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This is a great caravan park, no frills but good flat sites, ablutions are old but spotless with good hot water. Owners are helpful and friendly. Leeman is a quiet but great fishing spot. Costs are in the upper bracket but acceptable. Recommended park

We visited the Leeman Caravan Park for Labour long weekend and this quiet relaxing place is a must place to visit.
The kids loved riding around the park on their bikes as it is a large park with a lot of space. Amenities are clean and well looked after. Sites are grassed and nice under foot for our camper trailer.
Recommend for a long weekend or a quick get away.

What a great spot!
Bathrooms are obviously old, but so well kept. Clean & tidy. Hot water stays hot through whole shower even with other showers going.
Great large shady sites many with a concrete pad.
It’s about a 200m walk over to the beach, loads of rock pools to explore.
I recommend a meal at the Leeman Country Club while visiting.

Have barely nothing nice to review about this place at all, it’s very run down and dirty and it states on the page “dog friendly” which I can tell you now it’s absolutely not dog friendly. I was told my little Dogs had to be kept on a lead the entire time, they are not allowed any of the facilities which is fair enough but the place is so run down I don’t see what a few dogs would do to its already crap condition.. on our last night we bought loads of meat and thought we would use the bbq area and ofcourse we would have to bring our dogs we can’t leave them at the campsite along, twenty minutes after sitting there and cooking the food the owner (this old grumpy man) comes over and informs us we have to remove the dogs immediately they are not allowed near or anywhere near the facilities even though I hadn't seen anyone use the bbq area my whole trip there, probably because like I said it’s so run down. He could see our food was cooking as-well but didn’t care obviously, so we had to carry all our Food and drinks and cutlery all the way back to the camp site while waking the dogs because they are not allowed off lead whatsoever. My dogs were quiet little dogs as-well and hardly made a sound. Other then that fact I think the place has nothing going for it and it’s not very nice or clean I probably wouldn’t of bothered to write a review but the way me and my dogs were treated the last night of our stay has caused me to change my mind. Not a very nice family place if you ask me also they have informed me that dogs are not allowed there over school holidays, can’t understand why when most family’s do in-fact have dogs and usually camping is the time we bring them, can’t exactly take them to a holiday to Bali
I won’t be coming back that’s for sure.

Definitely not what we expected. We are not very fussy people and was quite happy staying the night but all we ask is for a unit/cabin that has actually been cleaned. The floor was gritty with sand and little stones. The bathroom was littered with pubes even on the sink. The single beds had stains all over them and sand in the beds. We did t even bother taking the sheets off our bed, we were to scared slept on top of our own linen that we pulled from the swag. We went to use the bbq on the porch but had fish stuck all in the grill plate, looks like it has never had a clean. We couldn’t use the fridge as there was fish guts all through it, the place stunk like a fisherman’s bin.
Definitely not a spot for a holiday, wouldn’t want to stay more than 1 night that’s for sure

This is a great council caravan park. Ablutions were spotless and fresh smelling. Park was well maintained. Caretakers were great, friendly and helpful. Always enjoy our stay there. Park is well priced and has everything grey nomads need.

Yeah right. Paid for 3 nights In An overpriced and extremely basic amenities room. Not even a bath mat provided.

Walls paper thin and late night noise from caravan travellers out the back. and could hear the people in the next room Moving around and a baby crying all night wasn’t the best!!! Very very cheap updo. Not a pleasant stay at all.

They advertise a “private courtyard”. Yeah right! Absolutely disappointed. Left after one night. See pic below.

Only suitable if you need somewhere to sleep when there’s nowhere else. We stayed in “villa” number 4. Caravan park was pitiful.

Good position in town and close to beach. The site was large but a bit uneven but had a concrete pad and a paved area. We took an unpowered site which was reasonably priced. We rode our bikes into town along a very good concrete walkway. The amenities were old but had plenty of hot water.

Very helpful manager and quickly accommodated us with drive in site and remain hitched. As very quick overnight this very convenient . Ablutions showing age but clean with ample hot water. Recommended as good value for an overnight. Pleasant walk along beach
