Camden is an older southern city. The number of hotels limits your selection but one of the nicer ones is the Colony Inn. It does need some updating but it is clean. When we are in town to visit relatives this is our preferred accommodations.

Better than the Executive in Kershaw for a track weekend at CMP. Stayed in the annex, probably should have stayed in the old building. WiFi was unusable. Building is in need of updates. The on-site resturaunt was closed.

Not fancy, but definitely clean and comfortable. Everything you need is there (including a mini fridge and microwave in the room). The staff is super friendly and the location is convenient to the main strip. There isn't room service or anything, but there is a great little breakfast spot on the premises, and otherwise no more than a half mile...

The only nice thing I can say is, they allow pets. We stayed here 4 days, 3 nights. We saw a maid ONE TIME for 2 minutes when she made the beds. I had to go get towels, I had to empty the trash, I had to go get coffee, I had to go get cups, etc. etc. There is...

Pet friendly was a plus. The linens were clean, the tub was clean, but the baseboards and floor were not. The electrical was sub par for current hotels. Like most hotels the wifi was overloaded by the traffic. It was adequate for staying out of the way of Hurricane Matthew while being somewhat hospitable, but not worth the price for...

It's clean and a good price and has that old country feel to it, I love staying here. They owners are really nice and keep the place very tidy. There's a restaurant behind it that serves delicious southern food.

I visit Camden for the races at Carolina Motorsports park a few times a year. Once I stayed here, I have no reason to look for another place to stay. Quiet, clean and the folks make us feel at home here. Reasonably priced to boot! Good breakfast cafe' in the premises with reasonable prices

We got to Camden after 11:00pm and needed a place to stay for the night. This hotel room was everything that we needed; its was clean, hot shower with great water pressure (perfect for my wife's thick hair!), excellent air conditioning, and a comfortable bed, all for a reasonable rate. We were well rested and ready to continue our journey...

Everytime I spend the night in Camden I stay at the Colony Inn. Camden is a major winter training area for Thoroughbred race horses and most horse people stay at the Colony. The previous long time owner is no longer with us, but the new Asian Indian owners are very nice and accommodating. The décor is 1960s Holiday Inn but...

My husband and I stayed at the Colony Inn with our dog while competing at the Boykin Spaniel National Field Trials. Our room was spacious, clean and pleasant, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant behind the Colony Inn is a little hidden treasure. Breakfasts were wonderful and the staff treated us like family. But following is the real reason...
