We loved the Cuthbert House. If you want a sleek, impersonal hotel experience, this isn't the place for you. But, if you'd like to stay in a place where history was made, walk on 200 year old floors, enjoy the original details and the personal hospitality of the owners and staff, Cuthbert House can't be beat. Our room was very...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in July. The inn is beautiful, but it needs serious repairs. The tile in the bathroom was stained with a tennis show imprint and moved under our feet while standing near the toilet. It was also missing grout in places. While large bathrooms may be important to some, they are not...

Thank you so much for the honest, detailed and well thought out review. We have taken everything you've noted and put it into action. We are planning to do some needed repairs to the restroom you mentioned and have used your notes on housekeeping as a training opportunity for the entire staff. Here at the Cuthbert House Inn we certainly...

My husband and I stayed recently at the Inn as part of our 25th wedding anniversary celebration. We were greeted warmly upon our arrival and given a tour of this beautiful and charming home. Our room, the Hideaway Room, was cozy and bright and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The small details of luxurious linens, toiletries, guest conveniences and...

Beautiful B&B, incredible location, exceptional hospitality. Beaufort is like a small town version of historic Charleston. It has history, charm, and waterfront activities. I am a history buff and enjoyed...

My wife and I stayed here for the July 4th weekend. We have stayed in quite a few B&B's, and the Cuthbert House is definitely one of our all time favorites. We stayed in the Ballroom, the blue room, and it is absolutely beautiful. Our room was on the second floor, and we spent our afternoons sitting on the upstairs...

I was first impressed with the view from the front porch of the inn, which is a look at the boats docked in the bay. Next it was the courtyard out back. Even the parking lot is pretty. It is just a short walk downtown to the shops, galleries, and restaurants. We were greeted with an offer for a glass...

Everyithing about our stay was excellent. Lovely wide front porch to enjoy the company of fellow guests or to sit and read the paper while enjoying a cup of coffee, or to look at the water. So peaceful and relaxing. The home was built in 1810 and the 2 newer wings date back to 1880. Walking up the wide front...

My dog and I stayed in the Courtyard room. One of three pet friendly rooms. It was nice and very clean with a fridge and coffeemaker which I appreciated. I peeked in at one of the house rooms and gorgeous but unfortunately they are not dog friendly. The breakfast was delicious as was the happy hour. Sitting on the veranda...

We were in the courtyard room for a long July 4 weekend. We were greeted by Joy and since the room was clean able to check in a little early. She gave a an overview and nice welcome. The afternoon social hour was a highlight every day. Wonderful appetizers, wine and beer, and best of all conversation with the owners;...
