I needed a place to stay near URI for my nieces graduation and this little hideaway did not disappoint. Situated between Newport and URI in N Kingston the Hamilton Village Inn was clean, quaint, and moderately priced. It proved to be a nice cheaper alternative if you need to be near URI or Newport.

The Hamilton Inn is a wonderful stay. Spotless is an understatement. Heavenly king bed. Friendly staff. Large green space for picnic tables or walking your pets welcomed pup. A place where not one thing was wrong. Thanks to a local's recommendation for being a great find.

Clean, comfortable, very quiet. Basic place to stay. Very convenient and the Office Manager was congenial and helpful. Coffee, juice and a few muffins. The cleaning crew was thorough and great....never saw them once. Thank you!

We stayed here in October on the way home from camping and hiking in Maine. Originally given a downstairs room with no tub. Really wanted to soak in a hot tub. The hotel was pretty empty so we asked to be changed to a room with a tub. "Well, that would be a deluxe room and costs more." I asked...

Not a bad motel. While the room smelled when we first entered it that is normal for these small motels. The room is closed up for a few days prior to your arrival so this is normal. We opened up the room and the smell disappeared after about 8 hrs. I didn't appreciate all the little signs telling you what...

So sorry to hear you did not enjoy your stay, the room, or meal at our restaurant either. I wish you had mentioned something about the odor in your room when you checked in so we could have done something about it. As far as "all the signs" in the room, we have an information sheet that does just that,...

This is one of the better motels we have stayed at recently, some have been dire, this one, breaks the mould, the staff were very helpful and the facilities very good. The bed was very nice, and we both had an excellent nights sleep. We used this facility to visit Newport. What would be helpful is local restaurant facilities when...

This is a lovely independent motel. My family stays here when they visit from out of town and they always get a clean, neat room. The office isn't always open, but there is someone living on-site who can deal with issues. They have a very nice restaurant on the premises that serves a good breakfast and lunch.

I stayed at The Hamilton Village Inn while attending a friend's wedding in RI. It's a decent place if you are looking for something reasonably priced in the area. It doesn't have a pool or fancy bath products and it's not new and flashy. However, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was a mini fridge and...

If a customer is not happy with their stay, we are not happy. I was at the Front Desk when she checked out, and I do appologize for the other person here. They were rude and kept interrupting her. That being said, I was trying to explain to her, even though our Lobby is not open 24 hours we DO...

Don't let the name fool you -- this isn't an inn, it's a roadside motel. A couple of positives: the room was very spacious, and there was a balcony off the back looking out over a pretty woodsy area. However, the place has no amenities, no toiletries, old, thin towels, hard beds, loud A/C. There were little signs throughout the...
