Angie and Aaron, thank you for having made this your castle (no pun but the movie was intended), we really enjoy sharing it! From the excitement? of having small planes or a chopper taking off from the mini airport next door, this just adds to what is being offered. As it happens within very acceptable hours and intervals it is...

We are currently using Flametree as our base to explore Airlie and the surrounds. Can not recommend any higher this park. The new owners Angie and Aaron are wonderful hosts that ensure a vibrant welcoming feel. Some amenities are tired, though clean. The new owners are in the process of renovating what needs. Well priced, good facilities with excellent people....

My sister and I stayed here for 2 nights with my dogs. The new owners were lovely and very accommodating. The park is very nice and well located a short way out of town. Well priced. So quite of a night so you can get a great nights sleep and be refreshed to explore in the morning.

Great place to stay. More space than the other parks in town. The grounds are well kept with nice grass and tropical gardens. My daughter loved the pool (clean) and we enjoyed bike riding around.. New owners were lovely and very accomodating.. Toilet and showers were great.. We would def recommend this to our friends.. thanks for having us..

We just spent 5 nights at Flametree Tourist Village. As we have a large camper trailer we were able to grab a large powered grassy site. The amenities block is very clean, although dated, but the showers were very welcome. Airport at the back but not a problem. The park looks tired and in need of a sparkle but we...

So glad we stayed here away from the busy tourist scenes of Airlie Beach and Cannonvale, yet only a few minutes drive to shops and tourist scene of Airlie Beach. Shute Harbour and walking trails of Conway National Park are only minutes away by car Well maintained park with well cared for tropical gardens nestled by treed hills. It was...

Stayed at flametree whilst travelling in Australia with mobile home. The site was excellent, and shower/washing facilities spotless.the owners were excellent and very helpful. This site is perfect not only if you have a motor home but for camping or staying in one of the lodges. It is a little way out but worth it.

After travelling all day from the Sunshine coast, exhausted and in and out of mobile range, at Mackay we started calling various places looking for an overnight cabin at Airlie Beach. Our budget was limited so we decided to take the $119 as opposed to the $160+ option. Joe very kindly met us when we arrived later than expected at...

I did think this park was lovely and quiet, but then we were not around during the day when the planes were taking off and landing from the airstrip just behind the park. We choose to sat here to be away from the throngs of people in Airlie itself, and were very glad we did. The planes are not that...
