We have just come back from a road trip and we stayed at Flametree for 4 nights. The camp is easy to find from the main road and the location is great very easy to get to Airlie Beach by bus which is right outside the camp. The bathrooms were very clean but dated. BBQ area by pool is lovely....

We always stay at the Flame Tree, a quiet park away from the main drag, next to the airport (but only light planes & helicopters operating in daylight hours) & my husband is a pilot. The new owners Angie & Aaron have done wonders in a few short months cleaning the park up & adding a fire pit Saturday with...

Awesome! So glad that you can see the changes we are making and are happy with them. Saturday nights are our main social evening. We are lucky enough to have some fantastic musicians that come and lend there time to make the nights go off with a bang. Its a great way of getting people to interact with each other...

Nicely situated, kind owners, very helpful with the booking of tours or visit planning. Right next to the whitsundays airport. We recommend the camp fire on Saturday afternoon. Stayed there for 3 nights.

Lovely Caravan park with good amenities. Wifi was spotty and the password system they used was very tough on an iPhone but service at the front desk was great. Owner operated and extremely helpful with booking trips out to the islands. Their recommended sailing trip was out favorite of our time in airlie beach. Bathrooms were clean though a bit...

Site is 5km from Airlie Beach and Marina. Cruise Whitsundays picks up from here. Lovely clean facilities, welcoming staff, friendly. Good showers, no hairdryer. Only criticism is that there are no washing up facilities next to BBQ area, camp kitchen is at other end of site. I felt that the camp kitchen let them down as not particularly clean.

Hi Suzzane Thank you for the review. Its great to get some positive feedback and to know what needs a little work to get things up to scratch. he camp kitchen is cleaned daily and is a little dated, however we are looking to improve these facilities. We are looking to build a brand new camp kitchen across the creek...

The location is somewhat deceiving from the road, but well worth it once you are in. Well maintained gardens, great ammenities and the staff are extremely helpful. We stayed in our caravan requesting a flat shady spot and that was what we got. Short drive to town for those who don't want to be in the middle of everthing. Well...

We camped here (in a tent) for a couple nights while visiting airlie beach. We enjoyed our stay. Camp kitchen is great for people in tents/vans. Facilities were very clean. The airport: Our tent was near the fence right next to the runway. It didn't bother us once. Planes are not too frequent and stopped before it got dark. The...

Since we stayed here three years ago I have seen good changes. The park is well looked after now. The Saturday night food and entertainment to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctors was lots of fun. This park will only get better with this couple running it.

Very friendly reception, with nice small smimming pool, and clean facilities. It takes you only 5 minutes by bus to go downtown. Located directly at the airport. Airplane traffic began Sunday morning at 7:30 when we were there. I am an airplane enthousiast myself anyway, so that was nice I didn't have to wait very long. There is a (legal)...

A park in a beautiful setting among shady trees, with beautiful bird life & beautifully kept grounds. Old amenities but spotlessly clean, really no need to update them. Owners were very helpful & pleasant. Located about a 5 minute drive from Airlie Beach,
