The second Tasman park we stayed at on our drive up the east coast and it was just as good as the first! The campsite was clean, beautifully presented and friendly! The reception staff went above and beyond and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was clean and well kept. We stayed a week and couldn’t fault the facilities! Would definitely reccomend staying here!

Best place by far and good prices! Clean peaceful, lovely showers and toilets. The kitchen area was buzzing every evening. The reception lady was so so helpful. This site is just a 15 min easy walk to the Whitsundays Cruise terminal which takes you on trips to the Great Barrier Reef and other islands. I can recommend the full day Barrier Reef trip. Also do the guided snorkel tour - it’s great if you aren’t a confident swimmer but also takes you out of the designated area so it’s wonderfully peaceful. We also indulged in the helicopter ride - I took a great video of the reef - truly amazing. Also the Whitehaven Island - stunningly beautiful particularly Tongue beach. All day, hot and tiring but worth it (I’m in my 60’s). Bus stop - walk a few yards keeping right as you leave the entrance. $2:50 into town - change given.

We decided to stay at the 2 bedroom cabin. The park by car is a 4 min drive to the centre of Airlie . Walking might be 40 min plus, the centre is just over 2 km away. Parking in Airlie cost for up to 12 hrs $8.00. Tasman is a medium size Park. New studio cabins are available. Some cabins are close to a road and a bit noisy. Our cabin was spacious with new A/C , new oven, new Fans. It looked clean. Unfortunately the bathroom and especially the shower needs renovations. The Toilet is also in need of a replacement, so is the kitchen sink tap and the security door needs a good clean also the outdoor table was damaged. Lots of storage and the beds were comfortable. Linen was clean and crisp. If you stay longer and need clean towels, they swap them over at the Reception. Nights were very quiet except when a school class checked into the cabins behind us. Lucky it was only 1 night. Wifi was free. Great playground for kids. Be aware of the Clamping sites. The Tents look really fantastic but in front of them is still a building site where they are constructing new toilet/ shower blocks and ground works. At current it’s very noisy and dusty and not a pretty look. Maybe give it a few months to go, it will be a nice area. As for the camping and caravan sites the shower, toilet and laundromat area seem to be recently upgraded. They look very clean and new. Birdfeeding is everyday at 4pm, so much fun. Wear a hat when you go to feed the Birds. Coffee and food trucks are on the premises, but we wouldnt touch one of the food truck. A Pub is opposite the road or use the BBQ area.

Nice place, clean facilities, have food vans and a permanent coffee can. But the owners don’t appear to take responsibility for their loud guests (after 10pm). Shame as this is not the camping etiquette, late at night so much noise but a group of men in consecutive evenings.

Hi Nicole, thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to see you did not have an exceptional experience we aim to provide at our park, and we apologise that you felt that our park's other guests diminished the enjoyment of your stay. This is certainly not a usual occurrence at our park. We do make an effort to ensure all guest are adhering to our noise curfew by patrolling the park at 10pm. We do wish you notified us of the guests not adhering to this curfew via our afterhours phone as we could have addressed this with the guests. We do wish you enjoyed your stay and hope to see you back again!

Tasman Parks is a quaintly serene tropical hideout, within a reasonable 2km walk to the foreshore. The villas have all the amenities you need, despite the bunk rooms being a bit tight on space for adult-sized humans (perfect for a family with kids) as the double/queen rooms that adjoin them are adequately sized with cupboard storage. Some new glamping tents up the back look impressive and the campgrounds/bbq area is welcoming & tidy, very family friendly. Particularly pleased by the fresh newly built & clean state of the communal bathroom blocks too.

The park is located walking distance to town and the harbour. The amenities are new and clean. Other facilities like the camp kitchen, pool and park were also great. There’s also usually a coffee van and food truck out the front! The park was very full so I recommend booking in advance.

Found this location to be a great place to stay we stayed in a cabin which is very spacious and has all the amenities. We can walk into Airlie Beach just over a kilometer and have a footpath all the way. The staff at the park are very helpful with all concerns there's an area when you may be able to purchase emergency food items if you need to there are cabins powered and unpowered sights and glam ping sights large laundry, pool, childrens play area plus food trucks each night and coffee truck each morning if you wish to use then overall a great location for a break and reasonable price we will come back
