The East Bay B&B really was a lovely surprise. The Victorian house is beautifully appointed and has old-fashioned charm with a modern touch which makes it special. Proprietors Diane and Paul Cardin went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. The room we stayed in had an adjoining bath, flatscreen satellite television...

Spent the weekend in Jamestown to explore the island and Newport off season. East Bay is impecably clean and beautifully decorated, hosts are friendly and helpful, and the breakfasts scrumptuous. Can't beat the location either in the heart of Jamestown. All this for a great value as well.

Staying with Paul and Diane at East Bay B & B was a lovely experience. The rooms are beautiful and have everything you need, including a small refrigerator, comfy robes, and cookies and chocolate at night. We toured Newport and visited Narragansett and were always glad to return to Jamestown and our quiet B & B. We enjoyed the local...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at East Bay Bed and Breakfast. Jamestown is a delight and Diane and Paul were fantastic hosts, who went out of their way to make our stay with them memorable. We were in the Narragansett Room and it fully lived up to our expectations. The breakfasts were fabulous and all of the recommendations for dining...

We were gifted by friends with an overnight stay at the East Bay B&B for our 40th wedding anniversary. Honestly, we live here in Jamestown are very aware of this newly renovated B&B. Still we were so excited to be able to spend a night here. Paul and Diane were born to be B&B hosts. Their attention to every detail...

It's just perfect, I would have no hesitation in recommending this place to anyone. Great rooms, with really personal and friendly service, close to Newport, but a lot more peaceful. Wonderful breakfast, and best of all, really good value!

My husband and I were looking for an affordable, clean, and inviting place to stay near Newport RI. We found just that - and more - at East Bay Bed & Breakfast. Diane and Paul were welcoming, friendly, and attentive. Their B&B is a beautifully kept and restored century-old home in the heart of Jamestown RI - a moments step...

We spent 2 nights here and felt like we were at home. Diane is the best. Makes you feel like your visiting an Aunt's house. Loved the water and cookies in the room. Just around the corner from all the restaurants on Jamestown. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delious, especially the scones! Can't wait to go back again!
