If you picture in your mind a quaint classic old house in Amish country PA, filled with lovely antiques and art, with beautifully appointed (and very clean!) rooms, and a gourmet breakfast served by gracious hosts - you will find it for real at Artist's Inn! They even happily (and knowledgeably) accommodated my daughter's need for gluten free breakfasts. Had...

Jennifer - Thanks so much! It was great getting to know you - especially when you had such a busy weekend with the wedding. Hopefully you'll have great weather this summer too!

A best bet in B&Bs . Jan and Bruce are great innkeepers. The food is great and all of the rooms are the best. Best nights sleep I've had in a long time. The inn is decorated in antiques. The Garden Suite has a private veranda. Fresh baked cookies available at all times.

We've been going to The Artist's Inn for 12 years and every visit has been wonderful. We stay there while we go to the local "antique extravaganzas" at Rennigers and Schupp's Grove. Jan and Bruce are friendly and fun hosts. Jan's breakfasts are the perfect start to the day. Bruce's artwork always spur a smile and a laugh and Jan...

This is the third time that we have been to the Artist's Inn and Gallery B & B. This spring the inn is surrounded with the lovely smell of lilacs, beautiful gardens of phlox, and tulips.. Pansies are just starting to bloom.. Again we had the spacious Rose Room, and each morning a wonderful delicious breakfast awaited us. Just north...

I absolutely love staying at Artists's Inn! I travel to Pennsylvania once or twice a year to visit Adamstown's antique malls. Jan and Bruce are such wonderful hosts and take a real interest in their guests. Bruce tells great stories and I love looking at all of his artwork. The entire house is so warm and inviting with many antiques...

Margaret - So nice to welcome you back again....and for the Antiques Extravaganza....ooh la la you're going to have some fun! These are some of my favorite weekends - there's just so much to do and see. Thank you so much for your kind words.

I thought Jan was an excellent cook and so fun to talk to over breakfast. She was warm and very engaging. She wanted to hear where we'd visited and what we liked and made us feel very special for being in her bed and breakfast.

The outside world just disappears as one walks through the door, and you are back in the 19th century. The innkeepers are not quite that old; in fact they are younger than I. They make the Inn feel as though it is the peaceful old home your great grandmother owned but, I assure you, she could not do a gourmet...

Frank - How kind of you. We cherish your visits - especially now that you are in Florida and there's no hope of seeing you in the winter months! Time spent with you is always interesting and goes too fast. Thanks for visiting.

We used to like to try new Inns when we could escape. Now we just find ourselves drawn back to the Artist's Inn. I think this was our 4th stay. There we know we will find wonderful, funny people; amazing gourmet food; and comfortable, interesting accommodations. We like the Rose Room. We like hearing the clip clip of the buggies...

I stayed at the Inn with my mum for a mother-daughter weekend and we couldn´t choose a better place to stay. The house is lovely and Jan and Bruce are very welcoming. We checked in kind of late and Bruce had the amability to make a reservation for us to diner in the Black Horse, which I highly recommend too,...

My wife and I had been planning this trip for several months however, with the unpredictability of the winter weather we waited until Wednesday before the trip to book our rooms. Jeff - Thanks so much for your great comments. We really enjoyed your visit. Just to be clear, the Garden Suite has a two-person whirlpool tub (although sometimes it would be nice to have a sauna!) and the bed in the Kriss Kringle room is a queen.
