We had a great time touring the farm, milking cows, making ice cream. It was very relaxing. The farmer's breakfast was great. I was expecting really basic accomodations given the low price, but the rooms were quite nice and comfy, and the air conditioners worked really well. The

We visited Verdant View farm as part of a road trip through OH and PA in Aug 2009. While my sons had a great time, I was disappointed in the overall experience. I wish I had read review on Trip Advisor before booking! Luckily when we tried to make reservations, they did not

I traveled to Pennsylvania back in 2007 for a wedding and stayed at Verdant View. I grew up surrounded by lots of farmland, and I'd say that Verdant View had all of the familiar sights, sounds, and smells that I experienced as a kid in central MN. The owners, Don and Ginny,

Hi Greg, Thanks for your interest in visiting our farm. Our B&B rates are based on occupancy and room. For example, Farmhouse Room 3 has a queen bed and private bath and costs $129/night for 2 guests. The rate includes 7:30am morning chores and breakfast. If you'd like access to a kitchen and living room, Room 7 in the Little White House has a king bed and private bath and costs $139/night. You can see photos and book rooms online at our website. Can we Book rooms 1 & 2 of the 2D floor (with the shared bathroom) for a family of 6?
Hello. Yes, you may book both rooms 1 & 2 for a family of 6. The rooms are directly adjacent to one another, and the small, shared bath is directly beside Room 2. Each room has a sink in the room, and the bathroom has a shower only. Rates for each room are based on season & occupancy. After selecting your preferred dates on our website, select 3 guests and both Rooms 1 & 2 to receive an accurate quote. I hope that helps!

I need to know how to get there from Newark, NJ either by train or bus.
Hey! We took a train to South Amboy, NJ and drove from there! It was pretty necessary to have a vehicle in Lancaster Co. We rented from Autoteam Car Rentals in South Amboy. They picked us up at the train station, and actually drove us back to the airport!
