Clean, quiet hotel with an extremely helpful staff who recognizes Hilton Honors members. The internet was fast and efficient. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was located near the highway and other stores and it had a restaurant next door.

Thank you for staying at The Hampton Inn State College at 1101 E College Ave. You are a valued Hilton Honors member and we hope to see you back. Bring your family next time to visit Penn State, Penn's Cave, attend a concert or just enjoy the many nearby state parks of Central Pennsylvania!, Best,

If you are visiting Penn State, it's a good location. A few minutes from campus, breakfast included. Has a independently owned restaurant sharing the parking lot with them, Lettermen's Sports Bar (also has friendly staff and a new chef).

Does not live up to usual Hampton Inn standards. Mattress and pillows were awful; clearly past their prime. Have never said maybe I should bring my own pillow until this experience. After 3 nights had back, neck and shoulder problems. Would not return under these conditions. No safe or fridge either.

Excellent hotel near Penn State with complimentary breakfast, outdoor pool, and fitness center. When travelling with the family, a complimentary breakfast is a key requirement to keep costs under control, not to mention the convenience!

Thank you for choosing the Hampton Inn by Hilton at State College. Families love Central Pennsylvania with its many outdoor activities, Penn State sightseeing, not to mention the PSU Creamery only 3/4 mile away. Hampton hot breakfast is a favorite too! Please come back to visit, maybe to a baseball game, Skiing at Tussey Mountain, or Penn's Cave Wildlife Park!...

I will be routinely visiting PSU for business and the hotel is very convenient to the department with which I work. The rooms are clean, the bed comfortable, the wifi easy to use and I can get work done on my laptop before turning in. AND it is quiet for a college town.

Nice hotel in beautiful area around Penn State. Great value for this area. Clean comfortable rooms and great staff. Would definitely recommend. It was a stop over for me on an Ohio to Rhode Island trip. I will be stopping here again in the future.

Glad you had a chance to visit State College on your way north. Our Hampton Inn State College is actually the best of all worlds. Value combined with immediate accessibility to PSU, downtown, and the highway but in relaxed setting. Please come back on you way south!! :) Thank you!

Small rooms, small uncomfortable beds.. Ran out of eggs and orange juice for breakfast. Can do better elsewhere. There is a newer Hampton inn across town or a nice Hilton down the road. Definitely would check those out first

If you are looking for a place with a nice outdoor pool you've found a nice place; however, if you plan to have any conversations with anyone during your stay be prepared to get a phone call from the friendly guest service desk. Maybe the Hampton Inn & Suites up the road is a better choice?

I recently stayed with my daughter who was taking a week long post graduate course at Penn State. It is a wonderful hotel for its category of hotels. It is not a luxury resort but a wonderful home away from home. Breakfast was great. Pool was clean and had ample seating and nice surrounding. There's even a water cooler in...

We were here for a wedding so did not spend too much time in the hotel. Enjoyed the breakfasts and the beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful and attentive. We even found a little time to enjoy the pool.
