Uniontown KOA or also known as River's Edge Camping, is a nice place to stay for the night on our way back to Canada. We had reserved site P125, right along the river. What a beauty. They also have a nice pool that we enjoyed that day. Campground has been upgraded a few years ago and is a nice place...

Have been here several times. The staff is great....they run a VERY well run ship here. All is smooth. Facilities are always clean, sites are always well maintained. We love the trains that go by across the river...adds to the charm but some people seemed to really not enjoy the noise. Seasonal campers are very engaged in the community and...

Now a KOA, this campground topped our list of campgrounds visited during a three week jaunt from Colorado to Pennsylvania. Our full hook-up site was right on the scenic river. There is plenty to do from biking to canoeing to fishing along with a smallish dog park and plenty of room to roam. Train whistles during the night did awake...

This recent addition to the KOA chain is listed by KOA as the "Uniontown KOA" despite the fact that it is a fairly good piece from Uniontown (located about 3 miles north of Connellsville). Beautifully located between the banks of the Youghegheny River and the Youghegheny River Trail (part of the Great Appalachian Pathway--GAP-- from Pittsburgh to Cumberland, MD with...

This was the first time at this KOA but we would return without hesitation. The river is a nice view and very close. While the train tracks are pretty active during the day they are not really noticeable...Night well a bit more !...But still tolerable. The bike trail runs right through the grounds and people would stop at the store...

Nice campground situated between the Youghegheny River and the Youghegheny River Trail. We were thrilled to be able to obtain a campsite near the river and enjoyed sitting riverside. Friendly, helpful staff. Nice amenities. Small pool, camp store, game room, laundry, playground, water craft & bike rentals. Entire place was immaculate. A highlight for us was the close proximity to...

Nice facility-updated/new bathrooms and private showers. Though they need some ventilation-they were about 10 degrees hotter than the outside temperatures. Nice pool, though our reason for coming was camping along the Youghiogheny river which was great. The camping spots are VERY close together, packed in like sardines. If it weren't for that, this would be a 4 or even 5...

If you can deal with the occasional train this place has excellent access to the river and even better access to a major bike path. The sites are nice and there's always plenty to keep your kids occupied at a KOA. Clean pool. Big game room...

We are campers and travelers with a RV. We have been to many KOAs. We found this one via their website. We happen to live near this one. First this KOA is the best we have stayed at. Let me explain. It's run like a fine watch. Everyone has a job and they each do it well. Very clean, well...

Great destination campground. The yough river is on one side and the allegheny passage bike trail is on the other. Everything is updated. Pool is clean and the koa has toys in it for kids to play with. Fun game room. Basketballs can be checked out for the hoops. Weekend activities. Showers are hot. Laundry facility is nice. This place...
