Hotwire should change the slogan on this, "1-star hotel at 2.5 star price" How did Hotwire and Travelocity rated this "hotel" a 2.5 or 3 stars? This is a very basic motel. The room is small and has old decor, carpet. Yes, it is clean but definitely not a 2.5 stars hotel. They are still using the actual key with...

We planned a weekend ski trip to Seven Springs, PA, and booked an overnight at this motel. We arrived late on Saturday night, fairly exhausted, to find a well-plowed parking lot and a pleasant, helpful gentleman at the front desk to check us in. There was even a free lavender deodorant sample! For the price ($50/night) we didn't have much...

We recently stayed one night at this hotel in Somerset, PA. There are LOTS of hotels right there at the turnpike exit, so prices are extremely reasonable. Good beds, a little heater in the bathroom, nice linens, good TV, free newspapers. The continental breakfast is nothing to write home about, but there is a good diner right next door -...

We ended up staying here because i foolishly let Hotwire blindly pick our hotel, based on star rating. I thought, hey, $47 a night for a 3 star hotel?! What a deal. HA! Apparently Hotwire makes up the star ratings and will put you in the lowest, most ramshackle roach inn they can find. Don't be fooled into thinking this...

Facilities are spartan but comfortable and clean. Excellent for an overnight stay during a long drive. I would stay here again.

I've been there a number of times (it's convenient to a place I like for whitewater kayaking) so I have enough experience to get a good sense of it. It's always been clean, comfortable (and I have a back problem), and organized. I've never bothered with the continental breakfast (the diner next door is an outstanding classic American breakfast place,...

Nothing fancy about this place. A room to sleep in between bursts of driving on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. Easy to get to. Clean rooms. Low room rates. Decent wifi connection. Somewhat dated look and layout that I found oddly comforting -- a bit of nostalgia for the '60s and childhood maybe. Didn't try the continental breakfast that got a thumbs-down...

This is a very nice older motel. Clean. Nothing fancy, but has all the basics, including WI-FI. The bed was fine, but a little uncomfortable, but we are used to our Select Comfort at home, so nothing is up to those standards. If you have a problem with steps, request the first floor. The steps are outside and could get...

I booked this room through Expedia after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor—sounded like a bargain. The price was certainly lower than nearby hotels—I paid $45. However, I think I would pay a little more and stay elsewhere next time. PLUS: relatively clean; not much road noise in our room (away from the main street); couldn’t hear anyone in rooms...

“I was put in a room towards the middle of the hotel. There is a great deal of truck traffic on the road outside the hotel. It's located off the turnpike and one of the feeder roads north south goes by the hotel. I'm a sound sleeper so it takes a lot to keep me from falling asleep.”
