This is a wonderful little rustic lodge located just down the road from the middle of nowhere in North Central Pennsylvania... we were there just for a quiet retreat but this lodge sits on the bank of a first class trout stream that many fisherman take advantage of. This lodge is halfway along a 60 mile rails to trails called...

Rooms are tiny, not even big enough for a closet or nightstands. Only choice for bed is one queen size. Walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors talking! Plus it was cold and no where to turn on heat or adjust temperature. Too expensive for what you get. Unless you absolutely have to be in this location look...

Came back to bike the trail and stayed overnight. Room was clean, as one would expect. This room had a stand up shower unit, which was just fine. Water pressure and temp. were very good. Bath amenities were OK. The restaurant was busy, and the food very good, reasonably priced and served pretty quick even when busy. Again, we forewarned,...

I've been to this hotel on biking excursions about a half dozen times and it never disappoints me. Its warm and cozy, the rooms are just perfect for a biker wanting to lay down his head after a long bike ride. The restaurant gets very busy on Saturday evenings but that speaks to the quality you find there. After all,...

This is our second trip to the Manor, and as before, everything is simple and efficiently run. This is not a 5 star hotel so don't expect a bellboy. It is clean, warm and inviting. After a day biking it is a welcome relief to know you will have a good meal and a welcoming place to stay. No frills.

My wife, daughters family, and I visited during the Labor Day weekend. I expected the Hotel Manor to be busy and it was. We waited for 15-20 minutes to be seated, which was fine, due to the number of customers already there. Once seated, I noted the deck area and inside seating tables were no longer full, but still busy....

I recently stayed at Hotel Manor (two night stay) for the first time, and I based my decision to stay here mostly on the reviews I had read. Compared to my preconceived notions, the hotel was both more barren and a more enjoyable stay than I expected. As a nice stopping point while bike riding on the Pine Creek Trail,...

My husband surprised me with an overnight stay at the Hotel Manor. This is the second time we have stayed, and have enjoyed our stay both times. This was our first time staying during the summer months. We both enjoyed one of the dinner specials, the Delmonico steak then sat at the bar to enjoy some cold adult refreshments. The...

If you closed your eyes while getting to the Hotel Manor, then opened them once inside, you'd think that you were in a college town, resort area, or chic brewpub in a city. But in the Commonwelth of PA, you are actually about as mountainy and woodsy as it gets. The food in the Hotel Manor is good, but pricy!...

Let me address the negatives posted about this place. The bar & restaurant do close earlier than what most people are accustomed to, but this isn't a place to come to for the all-night party scene. People come here to enjoy Mother Nature at her finest, at the end of a fun-filled, outdoor recreational day, they want to get a...
