About four years ago I was here at this B&B for my friend's 30th birthday party. It was so lovely in the gardens and they had everything set up so nicely. There was plenty of room for all of us to mingle and enjoy visiting as well sitting around in a circle to watch the guest of honor open her...

We only spent one night at McLean house - wish we'd had more time to stay here! The room was large and lovely with a very comfortable bed. The house is most impressive and the knick-knacks everywhere made it like home. The breakfast was substantial and the hostess extremely welcoming and helpful. Overall, an excellent experience!

Back to Ship again after >20 years for our HS 60th birthday celebration. There are no pleasant hotels in the area so this is a perfect venue and it couldn't be more inviting and atmospheric. I had the largest room (pictured) facing King St and endured no noise at all. This town is not active in the wee hours so...

A fine home with a bit of Civil War history! Comfortable and clean, as stated elsewere a great value. The only negative is minor, being located "downtown" on St Rt 11 there is some traffic noise until about 1am. I would stay here again!

I had the loveliest room... beautifully maintained period furniture, impeccably clean and thoroughly modern bath facilities. I couldn't ask for more! Then the breakfast was meticulously made as well and the price was unbelievable. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay! I hope to see you again soon... so tempted to retire here!

This was like stepping back in time! Every part of the house was impeccably furnished with true antiques and traditional pieces! The rooms were so lovely and comfortable! The host, Jan was so sweet and hospitable! The price of the rooms was so unbelievably priced, I felt truly lucky that I found it! Please upon reading this review, do yourself...

A beautiful house immaculately kept. The host, Jan, is a charming lady & very helpful. The room was large and the breakfast was great. A short scenic drive to Gettysburg. A great value & a great alternative to the staid hotels. I would highly recommend it to everyone. Certainly if I go back I will stay there again.

This was a top notch bed and breakfast. Our room was huge and had a comfortable double bed and a private bath. Breakfasts were so great, we didn't have room for lunch. The owner made us feel so at home and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

I heartily recommend McLean House to anyone staying in the Shippensburg area. The house is historical and beautifully kept and sits beside a stream in a peaceful garden. The rooms are clean and comfortable , the bed was wonderful , and the breakfast was incredible - something different and delicious every morning. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and very...

We were in the area for a family function and were surprise to find all the hotels full or very high price. We came to find out it was a car show weekend. Shippensburgh was ten minutes down the highway and the Mclean house was perfect. We even had our two year old son who loved the big house. He...
