Ed and his two charming dogs, along with quality helpers, provide a very nice bed and breakfast experience on the North side of Pittsburgh. The rooms are varied and spacious; and the entire place is decorated very nicely. Breakfast is a nice full breakfast. And, if you happen to be going to Heinz Field or one of the other North...

Christmas in Pittsburgh was awesome. Staying at the Parador Inn for Christmas was icing on the cake. Ed was very accommodating and knowledgeable about the city and things to do. His website does an excellent job at describing his historic home. Our gourmet breakfast with presentation became our lunch as well. We thought spending Christmas away from home would be...

Our annual visit to see the Steelers would not be the same without the Parador. It isn't just a great location (short walk to Heinz Field and the T and the Casino), it is a charming old house with interesting and comfortable rooms. We highly recommend it to our friends.

My husband and I enjoy seeing different Pittsburgh sites and was impressed by Heinz Museum ! Ed's home is amazing and we were in awe of his artifacts. His lovely dogs were enjoyable and only wish we could have spent more time with the canine hosts. Looking forward to a return trip!!

Yet again we had another amazing stay at the Parador. Ed and his staff are truly great hosts. No matter what I have to come to Pittsburgh for, I will be staying at the Parador. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious. We even purchased a cookbook. Paul W

While the proprietor is not talkative, we prefer staying at places where we don't feel like we have to share our life history and that of the B&B owner. We stayed at the top in a double room which was really a daybed and a king in 2 separate rooms. It was very comfortable and quiet. We used the space...

Rooms were nice and antiques terrific. Free parking was helpful too. We got a nice tour of the house from Ed. Our room was huge and a suite. Big living room, big bedroom and cute old-fashioned bathroom. The bed was not quite comfy and the pillows were flat but the bedding was nice. But there was no heat! Ed said...

I never said I wouldn't turn the heat on, what I did say was I don't normally turn it on until November. Temperature on your first day was 61 degrees and the second day was 75 degrees. You asked for a space heater the next morning and I absolutely was not begrudging, I quickly provided one actually before you and...

We stayed at the Inn for a long weekend to explore the sights of Pittsburgh. Ed was very helpful, filled us in on things to know about getting around, about various museums and places of interest, and lots of great historical facts. He offered terrific recommendations, and discounted tickets to a few of the museums we wanted to visit. We...

I suppose the title says it all (you can read my previous review for our first time impressions and experience). The Parador has it all....Victorian mansion atmosphere, central location, breathtaking architecture, plenty of reserved parking right at the house (that's huge in Pittsburgh, believe me), a lovely "secret" garden, and breakfasts filling enough that you won't need lunch. We met...

We stayed in The Parador on the North Shore of Pittsburgh one Friday night in mid September prior to riding the Great Appalachian Passage. The host met us right on time at the 3 pm check-in time and showed all through the beautifully renovated old mansion. It is located on a very pleasant residential street a short walk from the...
