This has been our "go-to" place ever since our first "admit-weekend" trip to check out Carnegie Mellon three years ago. Our most recent trip was this April. Great location for both CMU and U Pitt parents or alum -- about a mile from both places. Very RELIABLE shuttle if you do not want to walk. Free parking. Great staff. Nice...

My fiancé and stayed here July 4th weekend. We came to see the Phillies play the Pirates. The hotel is what it's advertised as: * A 5-star hotel, no. But it's clean, and it's comfortable. * Great location, no. But it's right off the highway, and you're downtown or at the zoo or at the casino in under 10 minutes....

We stayed for a few nights, as we were interested in looking around Pittsburgh before driving down to see Fallingwater. The hotel room itself was fine, with a balcony and good water pressure in the shower, however what made our trip was the friendly approach of the staff - Emily was especially amazing, shuttling us in to town and giving...

I was traveling with my husband and our two young kids. Overall we liked this hotel. It is located close to the Carnegie Museum of Natural History and Phipps Conservatory and pretty easy to find. It is also close to Pitt, but we can let that slide. The building is old and a bit run down and the ac unit...

The rooms were cean. The staff was excellent and extremenly helpful. The door to the balcony is off the track and wouldn't shut completely. One towel rack was coming off the wall in the bathroom (room 601).

I traveled alone and booked a single queen bedroom for one night. Keep in mind this is not a luxury hotel, it is what it is, just a hotel. It had a fridge, microwave, desk, and an office chair. There was also a 32" RCA flat screen TV, no issues with it. The fridge was actually a good sized one....
