Just spent 2 days in Pittsburg with a friend to see a couple of baseball games. Looked for a place with a decent location with a decent price. The Inn more than lived up to expectations.. An easy 15 minute (max) walk to PNC and Heinz field. The Inn itself is top notch. The gentlemen that run (own) the Inn...

This is a refurbished mansion centrally located. The proprietor is wonderful and accommodating. The front porch is delightful. Breakfast is large and healthy. The rooms are large and furnished with antiques.

This is a historic Inn lovingly restored. Gorgeous. A bit dated in some areas, but just what we were looking for. Character! Clean room and bathroom, nicely appointed. The tall husband loved the high vanity. Breakfast had variety and there were snacks out all the time. We had wonderful conversations with our host and we loved every minute of our...

If it wasn't for it's location and the lack of any on property parking, this wonderful place would have earned a solid "5" rating. The architecture of this place is simply stunning, and the interior is absolutely beautiful! I stayed in Mrs. Bogg's room for two evenings. It is well appointed and the bed/pillows are extremely comfortable. The light breakfast...

We stayed at the Inn on the Mexican War Streets and upon entering you are amazed at the decoration of the home. The spiral staircase with the Christmas tree set up is very welcoming. Our hosts, Jeff and Carl, are amazing, if you required anything they were there for you. The room we stayed in was elegant and I am...

We were in Pittsburgh to catch a Steelers game and wanted a hotel within walking distance of Heinz Stadium. After looking at all the regular hotel chains we were disappointed by the cost and the lack if ambiance. The Inn on the Mexican War Streets beat them all with its charm and ambiance, not to mention the charismatic innkeeper Jeff!...

Great place to stay. Spent one night and Karl, one of the owners, greeted us and suggested we might want to attend the Pittsburgh Pirates home baseball game that night. The Inn was within walking distance, so we decided to go. Had a great time at the game. Our room was nice and clean and we all slept great. The...

We had an amazing time, everything from the style of our bedroom and the delicious homemade cookies waiting for us each night was just perfect. The Inn keepers were so nice and welcoming and made us feel right at home. They provided us with a map upon arrival where they outlined the things to do and places to eat while...

This place is beautiful. Very well restored to the original. It's a must see if your in the area and like vintage things. The room we had was very beautiful as well but the mattress wasn't very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't what I was expecting. Was like what you'd get at a hotel. I expected more of a breakfast then...
