We only stayed one night on the first leg of a 10-day vacation. The hotel is a former monastery which retains much of the architectural and historical detail. We stayed in the newer wing which has been replicated to match the older building. The rooms are much larger in the new wing. The Monks' Bar was charming with decent small...

When traveling to large American cities, I'm always on the lookout for unique lodging that doesn't cost an arm and a leg yet is located closely to the venues we want to see in that particular city. Being a baseball fan, our main destination for our trip to Pittsburgh was to see my favorite team, the Brewers, play the Pirates...

I am extremely disappointed with the service that this guest received, and I do offer my sincere apologies. Our staff is trained to greet and actively seek feedback from guests while they are at our facility. The idea is to create a comfortable, quiet and relaxing environment for our guests. Clearly, with regard to this particular interaction, we did not...

I accidentally locked my keys in my car and had to walk to my hotel. They helped me to call a locksmith. I am very grateful for that because it was a bad start to my vacation. The location was great with a terrific view of Pittsburgh's skyline. The hotel was also conveniently located near the Andy Warhol Museum, one...

We stayed here for four days over the holidays. It was the perfect place to be over Christmas. The staff were friendly, the hotel was romantic and elegant, and it was close to a number of places in Pittsburgh. The morning breakfast buffet was just right, and the tiny bar was fun with an interesting bartender. We'll be back.

What a find. Each room is unique. The Priory is a restored monastery so each room is a little different from the others. A wonderful continental breakfast is served in the Refectory and a delightful garden with several tables and chairs available to the guests is in the back. This boutique hotel is located in the North Shore section of...

I didn't stay at the hotel, although we passed through quickly and it seems to be quite the nice place. But our organization held an awards dinner in the function room, which is an old catholic church that has been restored. Stained glass windows from the original church, impeccable restoration and a pipe organ originally donated to the parish church...

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this hotel. I have been to many hotels and so-called "B&B's" and this is nothing exciting. I spent there two nights and the only good thing about the hotel is the terrace. The people working at the hotel did not have a smile on their face once. They were not informative and the check-in process...

First, I do apologize for this guest's negative experience. We certainly endeavor to make each guest's stay as comfortable, quiet and enjoyable as we possibly can, and clearly we did not meet the mark in this case. We did not hear from this guest directly, so it is difficult to pinpoint which staff members she felt were cold and unfriendly....

If you enjoy lodging in historical places, this will be fun. The Priory is a recently restored monastery. They did a great job of modernizing while maintaining the old vibe. Parking is scarce (like everywhere downtown) and you can walk to Heinz Field, PNC Park, Warhol Museum and all the North Shore night life. The Priory is also an event...
