Have stayed here twice in the last three weeks. The rooms are amazing and spacious. The morning breakfast is heavenly and the portion size is very filling. They are very easy to converse with and are accommodating to requests. Would strongly recommend this Inn to...More
This B&B is situated on a block with other stately homes of the Victorian error. It is the gem of the neighborhood. My bedroom contained the original stained glass in the sitting area with period furniture. There is coffee 24 hours a day at a...More
This Inn could be taken right off the pages of Victorian Living! The rooms are very comfortable. The Inn is decorated in period furniture including an original bedroom suit from 1906. Lois was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good and the coffee excellent....More
We stayed two nights at The Inn of New Berlin and very much enjoyed our stay! The inn is beautiful, the rooms are well appointed, the hosts are most hospitable and the breakfasts were delicious, as were the fresh baked cookies every day! The bed...More

This is Don from Harmony Pa (north of Pitts) Sorry I can't be of any help re: your question but we've never stayed in Pitts and are unfamiliar with availability or costs. If I were staying in Pitts I wouldn't stay right in downtown Pitts I'd stay up North in Cranberry Twp (intersection of I 79 & Pa turnpike) where there are good Hotels, National chains, which I would suspect are cheaper and would have more rooms available at graduation time. Driving time from this area is about 45 min to Oakland and is direct on interstates right through downtown Pitts. As for your Mom's Grandfather and the Inn of New Berlin I can only say he was a super builder. Best to you!
