My husband and I stayed in the Chicken Coop cottage and found it to be spacious and absolutely immaculate, with everything we needed for a romantic getaway weekend. Owners Gary and Ann were very friendly and helpful, recommending a fantastic place for dinner Friday night; and Ann's breakfasts were absolutely scrumptious! Wish we had taken some photos of the food,...

We had a wonderful time. It's in the country. Stayed in the chicken coop which was separate from the house. Always a great breakfast and very pleasant conversation with the owners. Will try to get back sometime.

A real rustic farmhouse, with real charm. Is this the Four Seasons? No. Is this a quaint, relaxing, real comfortable stay? YES!!!! We stayed last weekend, and couldn't have been more impressed. The owners are fantastic, real people, with a great knowledge of the area. The bed was super comfy!!! The breakfast was enough to last us the entire day!!...

The family seems to be going through a hard time, but they should not be subjecting others to their hardship. They can't keep on top of maintaining their property, the kitchen/dining is their check-in which is cluttered, dark and inhospitable -- they seemed inconvenienced that we even showed up. The are not warm or welcoming, and in fact unsettled us...

My boyfriend and I recently took a short trip to relax for a couple of days... he picked The Stable, a cottage on the property. It was immaculate and trust me, I am particular about cleanliness. Ann gave great recommendations for dining and activities since neither one of us had ever been to the Lancaster area. She is a fantastic...

Ann & Gary are an awesome couple. If your looking for a relaxing time in a house full of history this is the place to go. We spent hours chatting with them at breakfast, not sure if the good conversation or the amazing breakfast was what kept us at the table for 3 hours but it was time well spent....

My fiance and I took a trip to PA with my cousin and his wife just for a relaxing weekend getaway. This was my first experience at a B&B and I have to say it was such a great experience. The owners Ann and Gary were very welcoming and friendly. We felt right at home. We sat and chatted for...

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a weekend getaway with our two closest friends. From the moment I walked up the driveway, it was a wondeful experience. I instantly felt at home. Another thing I liked about it was that the hosts weren't overly nosy about why we were there or what we were doing, but simply politely asked...

We stayed at Hillside Farm overnight for our ten year wedding anniversary. We loved everything about this place! The owners are friendly and chatty, just very down to earth folks that you feel like you have known forever after just talking to them for the first time. We stayed in the Chicken Coop cottage that was quaint, charming, IMMACULATE, and...

My husband and I and his sister and her husband stayed in the Davis room for 2 nights Sept 14 &15, 2013, so the value was great. The only drawback might be that the couple who stays in the twin beds has to come through the main bedroom to go to the bathroom, but it was fine for us. If...

“The Loft was on the thrid floor, extremly quite, clean large room with private bath. fire place and TV. The decor was rustic and we loved it. The cottages were very nice also, I would love to stay in one during our next stay, however, being in the same house as Gary and Ann and spending the mornings and evenings chatting with them would probaly make me stay in the house...they are truely good company! Loft has two big windows! the cottages have a huge fire place, deck and hot tub!!!!! AC in all!”
