Great food, highly recommended. Best restaurant in Milford town. Fresh ingredients and delicious drinks in bar Louis. I had the short ribs with the steak frites. Great food, great service, great experience all around
Beautiful hotel in the center of Milford, PA. Excellent service with lots of nice touches (such as homemade cookies and milk at night). The staff is wonderful and responsive to any requests you might have. Be careful to check the breakfast menu when you sit...More
This hotel was recommended to us by family and friends. We did a weekend getaway for my wife’s birthday. Rooms were spacious, warm, comfortable and very clean. Added plus were the heated towel rack and tile floor.
The staff was pleasant and professional. Food was...More
Rare to find a true European style hotel in northeastern Pennsylvania. "European-style" here refers to a property with long history, tasteful furnishings and a traditional formal service level with guests. "European-style" also refers to a lack of American-style amenities such as a gym, pool, a...More
Beautifully decorated Victorian style hotel in the center of town. A bit expensive, but worth every cent. Their fine dining is just that and the piano player added just the right mood for the evening. If in Milford, stop by. They have front porch dining...More

Grey Towers - right in Milford - is pretty spectacular. A must visit/see. Peters Valley Craft Center is about 10 miles from Milford and that's wonderful. We have numerous waterfalls - some are truly deeply breathtaking. We have a grand "main" street - BROAD STREET - with shops, and galleries and wonderful artists. The Hotel Fauchere is filled with beauty. Bar Louis is one of my personal favorites, and Bob, the bartender, is a treat and a joy. Badea & Soul (right next to the hotel) offers fabulous massages and facials if you're into that kid of pampering. A wonderful restaurant, THE FORK, is in Shohola, which is about 10/15 minutes outside of milford. We also have The Waterwheel restaurant & bar which has great music on thursday nights. The Columns is our historical museum, and that's right across from the Hotel. If you're looking for a bit of a drive - maybe a half hour or so - visit Hawley, and go to the Silk mill, which is now converted into a cool hotel - Ledges - and great shops. Whew, hope this gives you a good idea. Milford is fabulous.
