My wife and I stayed here on a college lacrosse weekend. I was drawn to the spa, thinking my wife would enjoy the pampering. A great call! The inn was convenient to Muhlenburg College, and we planned a couples 1-hour massage the morning before the game. So relaxing! The food at the inn was great, and the innkeepers were wonderful.... I had a conference at Bear Creek Resort, but waited too late for a room there. I found this lovely bed and breakfast and wish I had booked another day. I stayed in the Gent's Room. Every detail was thought of for my comfort. I loved the robes in the room. It was a nice enough day for me to... More

I noticed the Stone House Inn when i was at an event at the adjacent park. I found myself having to go back to the same location, and of course booked a night at the Stone House. What a surprise and delight! From the minute you enter the private garden, you feel transported! Lush greenery and plants welcome you to... More

I live in Macungie and had my parents out for a week from California. Without the additional room in our home and not wanting to put them up in a chain hotel, I booked them in at the Stone House Inn and Spa. I knew my father would be long anticipating each day’s “customized by Fran” breakfast and my mother... More

Absolutely recommend this place for a relaxing and therapeutic spa day. I've had both a hot tone massage and a body wrap done here and I'm very impressed with the treatments and personnel. Definitely go here instead of a chain place like Hand and Stone. While it's located on Macungie's Main Street, it somehow manages to be tucked away thanks... More

This is a very old rock built bed and breakfast. We were expecting a quaint new England style home. We were not disappointed . It has a very extensive Spa, with all the amenities. I am told the breakfast is outstanding. Now the other side. Our room had no closet or dresser. There was no place to hang our clothes... More

The Stone House is well maintained and captures the beauty and elegance of the the stone houses in this area of Pennsylvania. Breakfast was excellent. I really liked the kitten room and the entrance made me feel as though I was in a home of my own. The location was easy to find.

Beautiful spa and garden in back. The room was very clean and has an old fashioned look. The original back half of the house dates back to 1726. The upstairs floors creek a bit, but that's only due to age. Breakfast was excellent and the hosts were nice. Everything prepared to what we specified.

A wonderful discovery in Macungie. I booked an overnight stay because we were passing through to New England. We stayed in the Stone House Suite which has a separate sitting area and big bathroom. The house is quaint and quiet even though there is a spa in the front of the house, it is separated. Mostly for individuals, business travelers... More
