My husband and I liked our first stay so much, we came back again and we'll keep coming back. Beth, the owner and inn keeper makes all the difference and her cooking is worthy of high praise. Only the freshest ingredients, she serves an appetizer, main course and a dessert for breakfast, still the most important meal of the day!...

My husband and I booked the Four Seasons room for 3 nights to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. When I met Beth the owner, I felt like I had known her for years. Warm, funny and very down to earth. Not to mention a fabulous cook. I have celiac and she took great care to ensure that my breakfast was...

Our stay at the Walnut Lawn was superb from the minute Beth greeted us at the door until the minute we reluctantly left. Beth has paid attention to every detail. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed with great linens. Breakfast was not only delicious but ample. There is a gazebo in the back where we picnicked for supper and...

My husband and I stayed here because I had work nearby the next day. Beth was super accommodating to our needs. She even made us a breakfast bag in the morning since we had to leave super early. Beautiful property, gorgeous house. Beth has excellent attention to small details. We will definitely return and spend more time there!

Walnut Lawn is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It is a very charming, clean well appointed inn. Beth Holloway is the innkeeper and she is such a caring and warm person. She is always willing to help you in any way she can. You really feel at home. Her breakfasts are amazingly delicious and elegant. Our...

We stayed at Walnut Lawn B&B for two nights. The hostess, Beth, was an amazing person, and we enjoyed chatting with her. The house was so lovely, and the bed was so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely come back again!

We needed a last minute place to stay near Strasburg. After reading reviews on Tripadvisor, we called, and ended up staying in the Quilt Room (it has a really nice balcony). We concur with all the highly favorable reviews that we read on Tripadvisor. The rooms were immaculate, well maintained, and had turn of the century charm. Much of the...

Beth was a great hostess, made us feel right at home from the time we made the reservation through telling us come back back for another visit. Food was great, the home was more than the pictures show, and the information/recommendations were right on target for what we were looking to do in the area. We loved our room. Thanks...

My heart is a part of Walnut Lawn. I really feel at home here at Walnut Lawn. Maybe part of it is Beth. Her welcoming cheery self! The three course breakfast she cooks up in the morning or the way she takes time to help guests to anything they need in rooms or where to visit. Beth is always a...

Beth was a fantastic hostess. Not only was the room beautiful (we stayed in The Quilt Room), but the 3-course breakfasts each morning was *so good* and filling that we hardly needed anything between lunch and dinner. She was also able to point us in the right direction for things to do and where to go in the area. The...
