My husband and I stayed a few days at the Cork Factory Hotel and we're very pleased with the accommodations. I wish I could have taken the bed and bedding home with me. I am always worried about the cleanliness of any hotel we stay at. I never was stressed about whether the room was clean or not. That may...

It started off bad and stayed that way. First, they screwed up the reservation and the check-in clerk took forever to correct it and didn't give us any feedback about what was happening until I finally had to ask. The place and the room are actually nice BUT there is absolutely nothing between you and the floor above you (or...

We were a party of 10 and my family treated me for my special birthday celebration so I can't comment on the rate paid vs. value. As mentioned, the hotel is in an old cork factory and my understanding is that 80% is original.....lots of exposed bricks and beams. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was large with...

Well done re-purpose of an old factory. Unfortunately, my room had little character - but it was the cheapest. Elsewhere, there were loads of wood beams and posts, brick, and pipes. My room - other than lack of character - was v nice; bed was awesome, room very clean, and a v nice bath (but the windows could do with...

The Cork Factory Hotel is s converted...you guessed it...Cork Factory. Bare brick walls, huge wooden beams, and charming wooden staircases house modern charm, sleek baths, and spacious rooms. You feel at home and luxurious all at the same time. The staff, restaurant, and locale all add up to marvelous experience!

First, the hotel is an interesting structure, with exposed brick walls and beam ceilings. The rooms are a good size and the beds are confortable. The bathrooms are adequate. Staff are pleasant. As others have noted, the down side to beam ceilings is noise, as there is no apparent insulation between floors and the beams squeak, so if one wishes...

Very unusual hotel as the name says a converted cork factory. The hotel still manages to show off its industrial heritage whilst still having a modern feel. The rooms are huge, with very modern ensuite bathrooms. The hotel itself is a bit of a warren we found at least three ways back to our room. Staff are very friendly we...

This hotel was difficult to find in Lancaster city, but once we found it, it was worth the find. Our room was HUGE but thought the bathroom was quite small in comparison. Nevertheless, the room and bed was very comfortable. The walls were brick so very different than most hotels we have stayed at. The breakfast in the morning was...

We booked the Cork several months ago for parents weekend. This was based on reviews and not being able to get into our preferred hotel. First impression of the lobby was nice but there was no one behind the desk when we arrived after midnight. After knocking on the door, we were handed our keys. It was perfunctory but not...
