This gorgeous holiday space is delightfully renovated after being a convent for the Catholic Church in its past. The Stella is directly opposite the beach, sits high on a hill offering great views. Its an easy paved walk to the ocean pool or restaurants/ cafes (walk back up hill steep). Room was super comfortable with everything needed to make life easier. The bathroom was glorious and the rain shower bliss. The Stella has a communal kitchen, games room and dining hall with had everything we needed. Highly recommended place to stay.

Perfect location across from the beach & close to the pub and other restaurants. The room is small but has everything you need. My only complaint is the lights left on outside the room & hallway all night, makes the room very light. It is also noisy with other guests coming home late at night.

If your looking for a short stay look no further than the Stella Motel - small rooms for couples, apartments for families. We went down for a wedding and Deb looked after everything giving us an early checkin so we could catch the bus to the wedding, she was brilliant. Clean, well proceed, superb location. We'll be back.

Booked for 1 night on our road trip to Sydney. Room was small but perfectly formed. Spotlessly clean. Crisp white bedding,fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries and tea and coffee. Air con and fridge. Bars, restaurants and beach within a few minutes walk. Receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. 100% recommend.

Perched on top of a hill, just across the road from a stunning beach, and kept cool on a hot summers day, by a sea breeze, The Stella rooms are cosy and comfortable. A short walk to town, and many other attractions makes this accommodation very enticing. A kitchen in the common area is available for use, and very well equipped (obviously a commercial kitchen in times gone by) if you just want to ‘stay in’. We had a very relaxing stay, and staff were very friendly.

Honestly it’s clean and tidy. It had amazing shower products not that cheap stuff in other motel. The bed was so comfortable best sleep And real milk that was the best And thank the handy man who help us with the key and parking on his day off You are bloody legend mate

First timer here traveling with my son visiting from Europe on a motorcycle trip. Pleasantly surprised is the least to say. Very clean, newly renovated and well looked after by the staff. Has a pool table and a kitchen if one is to lazy to go town for nourishment. Walk 3min to the beach only. Parking on site. Southern side has a nice breeze and views from upstairs. For the fellow bikers… we did ask to park our bikes under the awning near reception. No probs. Staff is more than accomodating and helpful. Has all one needs in the single room we each stud. Extremely clean bathroom with toiletries, a quiet fridge, kettle and toaster + complementary teas and coffee. I give it a full 10/10. And a very good value for monies.

Perfect location, lovely history- this property should be Heritage Listed. Opposite the beach and diagonally across from the iconic Yamba hotel. I will definitely return. The room was small but cosy and very clean.

Room was adequate single room, modern furnishings, great location. The whole place has been beautifully modernised. Reception staff lovely and helpful in fixing a booking error that had two rooms booked instead of one.

On a long coastal roadtrip from FNQ to Kangaroo Valley we stayed overnight at this wonderful clifftop place. I was saddened that we couldn't stay longer & have vowed to return for longer next time! The room itself was snug but perfectly comfortable. Clean 'as a whistle'! The bed linens were lovely & fresh with enough winter warmth included. The shower was an absolute dream! Water pressure was strong with consistent temperature & a marvelously large, luxurious shower head! Bathroom amenities were terrific too in the good-sized bathroom. Bathroom was spotless also. I rang ahead as we were checking in after hours & Reception told me they'd already placed milk in the fridge for us. Highly recommend!! .... PLUS the styling of the whole place was super!
