We were located in another property in Yamba and needed to move due to the flooding situation. The managers of the Cove could not have been more understanding with our situation and moved a number of things around to accomodate us at the last minute. The property is very clean, in a fantastic spot with a short walk to watch the waves and the resident Dolphins play. Due to the flooding, we could not give a checkout date, again, the Managers most understanding. The unit we had was a dual key two bedroom apartment, which meant two couples or a family can shut doors and give privacy and then open them up again to come together. Carparking is adequate for most 4 wd vehicles. The swimming pool area is private and was spotlessly clean, which was not a easy proposition given the weather when pools will normally be difficult to maintain. This is a fantastic venue which I recommend without hesitation.

Even though it was a rainy miserable weekend the location and layout of these apartments was great. We had a 3 bedroom apartment which was roomy enough to hang out in during the horrible weather. Cards, board games and the tv with ample sized lounge room was a saviour. Huge balcony that’s weather proofed so we could still enjoy nibbles and drinks whilst watching the rain roll in. This unit had everything we needed, air con, 2 bathrooms, full sized kitchen, comfy beds and underground parking so when we did venture out we didn’t get drenched.

If you are looking for first class accommodation with views of Main Beach and the breakwater then look no further. Thanks to Kerry and the team we had an apartment with balcony and ocean views. The apartment and location was excellent however we had a separate issue which needs to be reported.
We frequently travel from Brisbane to Sydney and stop in at Yamba to visit family. We drive an electric vehicle, and unfortunately the local chargers in Harwood were unserviceable when we went past on our way into town.
When we arrived at the Cove, we noticed there were a few parking bays with a wall socket, so we went to reception to ask permission to charge the car in that bay in order for us to continue our journey a few days later. I spoke with a lady at reception who said she needed to run it by management which is fair enough. I explained that it would cost no more than $10 to charge, and I was more than happy to pay extra on our booking for this service.
The lady on reception got the manager to come out, and the manager seemed extremely dissatisfied and frustrated with our request, however seemed to reluctantly agree.
When I plugged the car in, I left a note on the dash saying I had permission and listed my name, room number and mobile number if any problems.
Early the next morning, we received notification from Tesla that charging had been interrupted. I immediately went downstairs to find the cable was unplugged so I checked the camera on the car and was quite frankly appalled at what I saw.
The same manager who approved our request randomly unplugged the car while it was still charging, threw the cable on the ground and then kicked it under our car. We have video and photo evidence of this.
This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome, so we moved our car back to our assigned space and didn’t bother to complete the charge. When we left Yamba, the nearest available charger was in Ballina so we had to drive back up North to Ballina in order to fully charge before continuing down South to Sydney. We also had a 10 week old newborn with us so this was extremely frustrating and very inconvenient.
I fully appreciate that the Cove is not a listed charging station, however we asked permission first and the manager had agreed. We even offered to pay extra. Should the manager have said no, I could have left the car with family elsewhere to fully charge.
Electric vehicles are the fastest selling cars in the country right now, and I suggest the manager at the cove thinks twice before unplugging an EV in future especially after approving the request.

Location is great, nice gardens, friendly receptionist's - that's where it stops. Stayed 2 nights in a studio unit (22b) the carpet was filthy and stained, wardrobe and sliding doors tracks look like they have never been cleaned, something had been spillled down the front of the fridge and not cleaned, old falling apart furniture, no bath mat or hand towel. When I booked this room I enquired if it was "OK" yes I was told all rooms are 4 star, well not this room, not even a 2 star. Management should be ashamed of what they charge for this room. Spend some dollars and refurbish, if not lower your prices and inspect the cleaning. You should be encouraging repeat bookings, will never stay here again and definitely not be recommending.

Our studio apartments are the smallest and most affordable options, however our larger apartments have more space and present a lot nicer. We arrived and the office was unattended for lunch - doesn't matter we walked across the road to the beach and up to the Pub. AMAZING. When we returned, the lady in the office was very helpful, offered lots of suggestions for places to see, and places to eat. A great ambassador for her town. The apartment we had was good, a ground floor unit, no view, but comfortable and all we needed was there. So nice to be able to have a home -away from home - if you chose to cook on site! The outside balcony was great. Wifi was a bit iffy, but i could fault the stay. We will be back when next travelling up the coast!

I came for a weekend away by myself. Great location, very quiet area. My room overlooked the pool. Great cafe next door for breakfast. So close to the beach. 2 blocks away is a strip of restaurants & the pub with the best view in the town. If you visit please go to Beachwood Cafe for lunch, order the broad beans, you won’t be disappointed. I would stay here again, Yamba is a lovely place.

Great stay, great location, well laid out, very quiet.
As others have commented, a bit dated, in terms of furniture, colors, tiling etc, but very functional. Car parks can be a tad tight, particularly when large 4WD are parked next to you.
We were there during the early February very wet weather, so a great place to sit in the lounge/balcony and watch the world weather go by in great comfort.
Good lift access right to room door.

My friend and I spent 6 weeks here for work, it was beautiful! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful more then happy to allow us to receive mail posted there. The accommodation itself is very clean and tidy. Had weekly cleans and restocking of supplies. Very comfortable bed and everything you would need is there. Walking distance to shops, beach is across the road and so many places to eat surrounding! 5 stars! Would give more if I could!

The best part about this place is the location . The underneath parking is extremely tight to manoeuvre around, especially if you have a bigger vehicle as I do. My room didn't have a kitchen sink or taps , I had to use the bathroom basin for water. No dish cloths or tea towels. Only a small bar fridge with no freezer section. Access to the room was very hard to get into as it was in a tiny little nook area with another rooms access as well. I booked and paid for 2 nights but left after the first night, not a pleasant experience at all.

We rented a ground floor, one bedroom apartment at the front of the property with beach views. To our knowledge there are 2 and 3 bedroom apartments available to rent on higher levels.
Your best bet would be to contact the receptionist at The Cove Yamba direct on 02 6603 0300.
Yes you could do that either by sleeping on the sofa bed ,if available, or the management will bring in a roller bed the extra cost would be $35 for the linen for the whole stay.If you chose a second bedroom the extra cost would be about $90 per night so what you propose is a cheaper option.I would suggest that when you book that The Cove is told what you propose so they can cater for your specific needs they are a friendly lot at The Cove Hope that helps
